German Grand Prix

How it works

Predicting the winner would be much too easy in a field of twenty where only six drivers (if that) will likely contest most wins. To make things more interesting you will have to predict the top three finishers in the correct order and do so before the start of the qualifying session on Saturday.

Race Preview

With Honda leaving F1 things are getting even worse. They really need radical change to make it interesting again; smaller cars for more overtaking, lower costs, etc. It doesn't look well for the future.

I'm mostly bummed about Parix-Roubaix being cancelled though. :/

This weekend then; no practice today due to mist on the Nürburgring... HAM, VER, BOT finish on Sunday?

Here's why I think it'll end this way. In the first few laps Verstappen's engine will start to lose power and him, as if he was channeling the frustrations of a former spanish Mclaren driver, will shout "GP2 engine dudes. A MOTHER! FUCKING! G-P-2! ENGINE! FFS!" while he's taking the car to the box to finally retire.

Halfway into the race Bottas and Hamilton will be too close to each other. The team, worried they might crash, tells them on the radio to not do any risky maneuvers. Bottas replies to them "leave me alone, I know what I'm doing" in a fit of "Raikonnenism", yet he rear-ends Hamilton a few turns later and forces both cars to retire (he clearly didn't know what he was doing). This causes the Safety Car to be deployed, leading to a madness similar to the one in Monza 2020.

Last but not least Raikonnen gets penalized and Russell doesn't manage to score any points.

Lost this one, but my guess would be same as last race, Hamilton, Bottas and Verstappen. Until 2022 there's sadly only a real competition when something happens with Mercedes

Guys, Bottas got pole yesterday. But do you know what else is yesterday? It's World porridge day. Coincidence?
