Lmao "Valentine's Day Sale" xD Nothing says "I love you" more than killing demons together

Thanks for the heads up, I guess I've been waiting for this sale to buy it

Also, if one already owns regular Diablo III version, price is even lover:
"A reduced-price upgrade applies because you have access to another edition! €17.30"

Yeah, I've already bought D2/D3 everything when they launched. I'll get D4 when it launches too, $13.19 still feels steep for an HD uplift after all that. They did do a really great job though.

Nice... I was interested in getting D2 Resurrected since I prefer playing with a controller nowadays, but wasn't really keeping up with the sales. Thanks for the heads up, at 67% off, that's definitely very tempting. I'll probably pull the trigger... and maybe even buy the Prime Evil upgrade. I have D3, but only the base game.

Same Offer is back for Spring Sales, alongside discounts for other titles like Starcraft 1,2 and so on as well.

I did buy Diablo II: Resurrected when it launched, but I wonder why there is never any discount for the Warcraft III.

Comment has been collapsed.

I wonder the same.

Given the fact that they still offer a full refund at ANY TIME, something you don't see very often in the industry and that they are working on it internally, I think they don't want to draw attention to it until it's considered up to their standards or something like that.
Or It's just wishful thinking on my part and the sales department simply forgot to tick a box to include it in the sales.

2 Resurrected is a commendable effort on an already perfect game. Diablo and Diablo 2 are the true goats when it comes to this genre and I never changed my mind on that even though I had some fun with a season of paths of exile.

Honestly there is only one caveat in this whole gig. The biggest gripe I have with resurrection is purely mods compatibility. The community has made such an amazing assortment of mods for Diablo II throughout the years, including a huge one called MedianXL which is literally like a new diablo 2 game, which is pretty much a thing that once you try just once, you can never go back to the barebones game again. The fact that it is not compatible with Resurrection makes it an automatic deal-breaker for me, as I'm sure for many others too. It is what it is I guess.

Also Path of Diablo (or PoD), which is a great take on what Diablo 2 could've been if devs had a bit of PoE mindset

If you're playing original with singleplayer saves, then you should know that you can import saves from original to resurrected. It's really worth it for QoL upgrades alone.

Thanks for the info, but I'm not paying again for the same game, and I suppose the y don't hand the remake to the owners of the original

I bought it on discount in physical format, in time as a long ago but maybe you are able to find it somewhere. Then you activate the key online and you can digitally download the installer.

microsoft needs many many many many new subscribers and the way to do that is to put good titles in the game pass ,so trust me, it's gonna be there.

did they ever unscrew up whatever made people angry?
I refunded it back then and never paid attention.

I don't care about multiplayer if it matters(I absolutely suck at the game)

If I'm not wrong the big thing that pissed people off is the following points:
1) They said they were going to remake all the cutscenes, but they only ended up remaking the intro cutscene and I think 1 or 2 other cutscenes
2) They added a clause stating that anything made for the game by the community is the property of Blizzard (so that if something like DOTA was to happen again they could greedily take that idea and not have to pay anyone for it, and be able to sue if people try to make standalone projects based off of something someone made as a map for the game).
3) It forced a new multiplayer service into both the original and remake

And from my understanding, none of these points have been rectified... but hey it's still Warcraft III with better models and textures, so I'm interested haha.

I might just add it to my collection on case I ever want to go back and play it again.

I still have funny WoW money from quitting many years ago... even after spending stupidly on HOTS and D4 ultimate+the 10k platinum pack.

on the flip side though... I still have the discs for the old one, and the old graphics have their charm.

In case you didn't know, you can activate the key for the original on blizzards website and then you can download the most updated version and download & play it directly off of their launcher :)
It will show as Warcraft III regorged though, even though it's the base game, when you download you will have the original games graphics and all, there were a few multiplayer changes made with an update though, as well as the inclusion of the aforementioned clause regarding user content being blizzards property.

well aware, but discs let you run older versions(as low as the version you have on them) if desired
already have it tied to my bnet account..

bit more relevant with d2 because of mods requiring older versions

Warcraft III "Reforged": -50% discount:
https://eu.shop.battle.net/en-gb/product/warcraft-iii-reforged
https://us.shop.battle.net/en-gb/product/warcraft-iii-reforged

I'm still not sure if it's even worth the "upgrade".
I prefer the original graphics to be honest.

Diablo ® Prime Evil Collection that Includes Diablo II:RE plus Diablo III and its expansions for €19.79 / $19.79 (-67% off), is definitely worth it if you haven't played Diablo 2 or 3 before.

D2 Remastered is a remake done right, so I highly recommend it.
I doubt it will get any cheaper.

Not sure how it is on PC, but on Switch Diablo 2 RE requires constant internet connection even for solo play. It check up with Blizz server every now and then.

I have no intention of supporting such bullshit

You can play in offline mode but every 30days you have to login to the battlenet client to get a new authentication token.
https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/10313

Start the game with d2r.exe instead of the launcher to bypass the battle.net app.
There are other ways to bypass this completely on PC, but I won't mention them here because it includes hacks.

Diablo 2 RE has a lot of compatible mods for offline mode, not as much as the original though:
