what is the best action game u have ever played?

So far anything that begins with Serious Sam. Or the first Painkiller (Hell & Damnation should apply too, seeing as it's just a remake). Nothing's more rewarding than having survived a freaking ocean of big-ass enemies by having mowed them down with fancy weapons. Painkiller actually reminded me of Braindead's own Lionel with his lawn mower against the zombies (for reference).

I don't know if it counts as an action game, but for me its Fallout 3
