Can you gift steam games that are in your library?

I'm really stupid. I put up faerie solitaire on this site, the game was in my library and I assumed I could trade it from there. Apparently I can't. Is there anyway I can give this guy his game. I'm screwed.

or ask from somone nice on forums to give you a cd-key on steam chat, and give him the cd-key :)
