I started one but I didn't begin farming, I made 1k accounts for it, but I got bored so I stopped when I finished all the accounts lol. My alt and kinda farming account is this one, but it's mainly for storeage for my csgo cases investments etc, though I've 7 total accounts for that.

They increase ;p I've around 15-20k csgo cases atm, I made money off all of them. After they become a rare drop, they increase alot, for example Breakout Case recently became a rare drop, it already increase quite alot and I already earned around 150+ euros of it (I bought 6400 of them for 4 and 5 euro cents).

If only I have the patience or the capital and the firmness to simply buy cases in bulk when they are dirt cheap and hope for it to rise, some of my tf2 cases are still rotting to this day

Yeah, I used to trade so I built some capital over the years, ATM I've around €1.5k-€2k spread around a few accounts so investing is better and more profitable than trading for me. If you're planning to starting investing I would recommend starting trading to get some more profit, then you can start so the wait seems less long, I wouldnt invest in any other games expect CS:GO I Made that mistake 2 times last year.

not worth it for me. I'd rather trade them 1:1 for bundle games I missed due to it being shit or too much repeats, or sell them at paypal, recycle the money to buy new bundles. Steam wallet value just ain't good enough.
Maybe if I'm one of those people who can haggle devs thousand of keys for cheap, farm card on it. But still, going to take a while to probbly sell all those cards, and you need like $5 investment for each account. Mine has 263 games, can't really be bothered with it. The only time I've added anything in the past year or more is when I've had keys that I got in bundles that went on to be removed from the giveaway list here. If that game had cards then I added it to my alt.
Sitting on plenty of keys that I could farm on the alt, but I don't even keep up with my main account. Been trying lately but I'm still 500-something games behind on the main after farming solid for a couple of months.
My brother sometimes uses my alt to play a train sim mod he likes.

I mostly idle games free on steam that give drops (like Retaliation recently), mass free games 1-9 copies for whole badge set, since those are easy to mass-add to all accounts and also spammed discovery queues during winter sale (with script of course). Idling extra keys isn't really worth, better to give someone who may actually play it.

if i want a bundle i just buy it, if i get it on HH i have a few cheap games to drop here :)
but using a few left over games for cards might be a way to complete your own set, saves trading or buying :) and large accounts might get a few boosterpacks in the proces

I havent thought of it myself about second account for farming. But if you want to waste the time its kind of smart. Its easy to get extra free steam keys and when you have enough money you can buy and gift the game to main account. I woulnd waste time to do this myself. But I can see the point at least :)

I trade most of my extra bundle games for cards, avoiding the farming altogether. Sometimes I send them to a friend who send me back the cards from it.

I created a second account once to farm cards and get credit from playfire rewards(back when those were a thing), but I've barelly used it.
I only farmed cards with it once, for one game, and then it just became the place where I occasionally dump keys when I'm not sure if they work or not and I already own them in my main. But many times I drop those keys here in SG instead, so it's a small account. Meybe I'll use it for something else someday.
