Looking for games with good stories! (+ The Fall giveaway!)

Mass Effect triology is very good, with a horrible end, I must say. But worth a try.
Planescape: Torment have best history I know in 30 years of game experience.
Assassins Creed II have an amazing history, but the next games focused more on action, unfortunately.
JRPG's like Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Tales of Symphonia, Valkyria Chronicles, Trails in the Sky, Shin Megami Tensei series and almost all Final Fantasy series have good histories, principally the old ones.

I HIGHLY recommend Spec Ops: The Line in terms of story.

I don't know how much you like RPGs but Dragon Age Origins is really good, and even better is the Witcher series!

If you don't mind story rich games that don't let you make choices, To the Moon is a great game. Valiant Hearts: The Great War is spectacular, it actually made me cry. Same with Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.

Finally, I love the story of the Assassin's Creed franchise. Not all of the games have good stories though, so for an actually decent story, I highly recommend Assassin's Creed 2 and (especially) 3.
