Beats the price that Steam just had on it in their own sale as well as that currently on Amazon (both $4).

No PayPal for orders less than $3.74? Other stores don't have that restriction...

NO MONEY FOR YOU!

Really!? That's lame.

The only thing I have bought from there was Sonic Generations a long time ago but it was more than that ($5 if I recall correctly).

I love how 3$ translates to 3.24€ xD Still an awesome price for an awesome game!

Cheaper to buy from Amazon ($4 = 2.99 Euro) - even with a CC fee of 1.5 percent for currency conversion.

Yeah but than again you can't buy from Amazon without lying about your address (I prefer avoiding things like this)...

Still difference between 3$ and 3.24€ is huge. For some it is even 50% more due to currency exchange rate.

They're based in the UK so EU/€ purchases get charged VAT which doesn't apply to the rest of the world.

There's 19% VAT in Germany (not sure about the rest of Europe).

$3 + ($3 * 0.19) = $3.57
$3.57 = 2.63€

Similar (even slightly worse) story for the UK.

£2.49 or $4.09. Still, I actually bought it there the other day at that price as it was cheaper than Steam's UK daily deal price. Think it was £3.33 or $5.45 on Steam, can't remember for certain.

Achievements. You like achievements, don't you?

Well, it is patched to run on modern windows computers (the old PC-Version isn´t), but the game is best to be enjoyed with a lot of mods to make it look and sound better and in order to do this, you have to deactivate the new features anyway (even achievements).. and you can do the same with the old PC-Version while making it playable on modern PCs along the way.. so yeah, if you want to play the (badly ported) vanilla PC-version, you are better off with the new release, even though the vanilla game is best played on PSX with a CRT-TV.. but if you plan to mod it, it realy doesn´t matter if you use the old or the new version ^^

The main reason to buy this: Every Dollar you are spending on a classic Final Fantasy game is a Dollar well spent.

I saw that info somewhere already... but that time I dunno why I thought that price was in dollars :/

So likewise, thank you!

I have already FF VII on PSX but it would be good to play it on PC... the previous owner of the game (PS) was... bad bad bad guy.... That meanie scratched CD! It is in terrible state... I feared that someday it would just break to pieces inside console..

Is it so hard to read the product description?
It's a Steamworks game so obviously it activates on Steam and it's written there, READ.

Sorry dude, I looked on the page and didn't see anything regarding steam, no need to be an ass.

For what it's worth, I wrote "Steam key" in the topic title of this thread when I first posted it for this reason

Thanks for the heads up. I guess at this price it's worth adding it to my backlog. I've had the game for years, but it suffered from two issues: the first is that I keep misplacing it, the second is that I never managed to run it well, always having a problem with the OS or the graphics card. I thought of waiting for an Android version but I'll probably just buy this and forget about it.

Unfortunately it looks like this doesn't have full controller support, and I always hated the PC controls, but I guess some remapping will be enough.

Edit: On second thought, I'll pass. I've read a review of it, and one thing it said sounded right to me: the game will feel cliche to new players. It's influenced so many games that if you're played newer JRPG's then you most likely played something similar. Couple that with so-so visuals and I figure I might as well play newer games.

I just bought it and could not activate the game on steam with the key given to me from getgamesgo. Already contacted support...hope it will go well.
