Where is the steam group? There are some bundles I am interested. Not all of them, though

I thought he was asking for the public group. I'm also member of it and inactive since paypal isn't available in my country.

To be clear, NONE of this discussion is related to the main Group Buys public group.
The people in this thread are most likely talking about the following group or one that is similar:
https://steamcommunity.com/groups/igbundles
I also found this:
https://steamcommunity.com/groups/GalaGroupbuy
What I have gleaned from finding out about all of this recently, is that there was another, less widely known group that specialized in doing group buys for Indie Gala bundles, but it wasn't managed properly, became too unwieldy, and now the owner wants to quit, so a group of the folks who are still active have restarted it under a new name, and they are going to manage it the way it should have been done in the first place. That is what this topic is about.
Once again, the main Group Buys public group is here:
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/groupbuys
Any discussion of a group that was abandoned or had problems with inactive members or is in some kind of trouble whatsoever, has nothing to do with that group. It is extremely active and it is the central place from which most other similar groups spring from.

Sorry, but the group is currently private as the old group had too many inactive members (300+) that made it difficult to manage. If you are interested in past bundles, just list them and I'll see how the seller wants to handle it.

You can reserve more than 1 however if there's demand your extra ones are cancelled and the slots go to people with no slots yet usually. Think of it more as reserving 1 and if there's leftovers you have dibs on those. Not sure about the particular host mentioned above but that is usually the case.

This group is a bit different than the regular GB system. The host distributes bundles monthly to the regular active members. Meaning, the regular members are always guaranteed a copy. Take a look at the attached image of this thread to see how it looks like.
Unfortunately, you can't get multiple copies of a specific bundle, unless you decide to also get multiple copies of the other bundles, so that other active members are guaranteed a copy as well.
If you are interested in past bundles though, just list them and I'll see how the seller wants to handle it.

The seller mentioned he's also open to taking csgo keys. Not sure what the rate is since everyone deals in pp. I can ask him though if you're interested.

CS:GO keys will be either overpriced or underpriced and it's hard to turn it to cash.

Personally not looking for a host since I buy maaaaybe half of what IG releases but if not enough people come forward I'm quite sure there's a few people that still have subscription slots available like alphabetsoup and .MAR.
Either way good luck!

Yeah, this group is mostly for people like me who buy almost all the IG bundles. Personally, I like the fact of not having to jump in on GB threads and being guaranteed a copy. I decided to go with this seller as he has the lowest fees, compared to the others I've dealt with in GB. I remember one seller actually increasing his prices of old IG bundles when they were no longer having Happy Hour.

For the record, alphabetsoup's group is now filled, so there are no subscription slots available:

Is this a thing for every IG bundle or can I join if I'm occasionaly interested only?

Received the rate from the seller on csgo keys.
CSGO keys(valued at 2.1USD)
Any leftover value can be used for future bundle purchases.

hi, I am very interisted, but I need to ask a question first.
If I for example send 20$ "credit" and you guys stop for what ever reasons, I'll get the rest of this credit back? And will the bundles delivered to me automatically if you got the credit?
Comment has been collapsed.
Probably, I haven´t used credit in a long time. You could discuss this with SOGOR if you join the group.
However, when SOGOR (our bundle distributor) creates his monthly thread, you could just say "Take all, pay with credit" and he will send you the bundles and you can subtract the price from your credit.
All bundles are distributed once a month (less work than sending every bundle one by one), so you don´t really need credit.

Thanks for quick response! That might be worth it for 1x of each over the course of a month. I've got plenty more than that most months, but government is paying me, and they're not too reliable here. I've had periods where I had to wait over a month to get things fixed that went wrong. Still... I could manage that, as long as I could mention at the beginning of the month I'm having trouble if that were to come up (it has a few times over the last 3 or 4 years). I would know at the beginning of a month though, but I'd hate to stick extra money on somebody else and not be able to be fully committed.
I'd be able to at least have that much extra carrying over if something did happen though. I think I could keep a spare amount in case something happened. In one of those spots now where I don't know how May will turn out. I get a straight amount, but sometimes they screw up... Anyway, I could at least say yeah ^ at least for a few months time if that is acceptable, and then keep some aside for if shit hits the fan. If it's not super-lockdown for a long period, I can do it if May ends up okay. If you all want spots sooner, or cannot go with a 100% reliable source (I can build up a small stash over time to become more reliable), then I'd have to just ask for maybe a rain check in the latter case.
Sorry for being long-winded. Hope it makes sense. Hopefully you are in there in group buys, since you answered me :D

Yeah i am part of the group , tho im there for couple months .
I honestly dont see an issue with delayed payment as long as you eventually get the stuff .
The current issue is that the group owner is looking for people who buy ALL the bundles that come out , since hes buying a batch of ( i think 21 from each ) , and not just people who pick specific bundles ... since he has massive amount of stuff leftover right now cause people sign up for buying everything and then just get like half of the stuff >.>
Ideally just add him http://steamcommunity.com/id/javargos and ask about the stuff you may have questions with since hes the most reliable source after all :p

Thanks a lot! You've been really kind and helpful with what I did add. If it's not too much of a rush to get people in, then I'll probably be very interested once I'm over this current hurdle. Tomorrow-ish I should be able to get an idea if I'd like to see if I can contribute some to the overall.

I'm definitely interested. I'd like to make sure I understand the rules first, but it sounds like something I could do. Can you send an invite so I can look over the page a bit? I'm pretty sure I could join up and contribute once I see how everything works. I'd probably be buying everything each month if it's pretty low overall. I've got no reason to be choosy, since I have usually several games in each bundle anyway already + it being a very good price.

I will send you 2 invites in a second, one for the new group of active buyers:
Please go into discussions to the list of active buyers and reply that you want to subscribe :)
The other invite is for the old group, no need to post anything there, but it could show you how everything works :)

Do you know how many different bundles IG has per month?

Well I would like to join as an active buyer if there is room left. Thanks =]

Hi people of steamgifts!
First of all, if you are not interested in indiegala bundles, or group buys, or if you already have a regular distributor skip to the bottom and find some gibs!
For everybody who is curious what this is about:
Everybody should know indiegala and their bundles and most people also know that they are cheaper during HappyHour.
But did you know that there are kind people out there, which offer a service called "group buys"?
They buy like 10-20 bundles at once to get them for the cheapest possible price (often under 1$ for the whole bundle).
And then, you can buy these bundles from them, for this cheap price.
You could even send him "credit", so you don´t have to pay every bundle one by one.
Example screenshot attached
Now, I have the problem that my regular buyer "SOGOR" wants to quit his service if he cannot find enough people to have 20 regulars (people who just want every IG Bundle for the cheapest price).
So we are looking for ACTIVE buyers!
You can skip 1 out of 10 bundles.
Also, SOGOR has a lot of old IG bundles left, that´s the fault of inactive subscribers. That means if you are interested in buying old IG bundles, he has a lot of them.
So if you are interested to join our little Steam-group, tell me here!
Here are your gibs (all indiegala to show what you could get :P):

An here are some gibs from another member of our group "Rager's Replacement":
