How do I turn off sound alerts?

This site has no sound alerts as far as i know. Is something changed?

I don't know what you're talking about, but I would search online for something like "disable site notifications" or possibly "ad blocker", and I hope your browser hasn't been compromised by some malware.

This site doesn't have sound, but for any site where you want to disable certain things. If you are on chrome, right click on the lock icon next to the name and then click on "site settings" and there you should see a list of options for permissions for the site and you can select a specific setting for a site, such as blocking notifications and sounds.
(But as others have said, maybe run a virus scan or confirm where exactly the notifications are coming from)
