This probably has been mention, but I'm not in the mood to read through all the post. I simply don't care if someone is level 0, If your worried about it just put a level 1+ requirement..... Shaming someone because they have little to no money is just sad.

What's the problem with 0 giveaways people? Set level restriction to 1 or 2 and you'll never see them.

I thought this site was more about giving regardless if others have?Since when did giving become about how much the other has given?That is like having a Charity and saying before we give you food you need,you need to give some of your own food.

Would i like to see more people give back sure,but i do this because i want to share with other people,You can chose to do level GA,and not give to those who have given nothing,I give to all kinds of people and i never make a GA higher then my level.

Also if you giving games you have a source of income or some other source to get them,as games just do not pop out of thin air.If you wish not to share with those who not give simple solution would be to make +1 level only GA,not demand them to give back this site is open to anyone regardless of if they give back there is nothing saying they have to give back.

Still to claim you have no income and still giving there is a catch some place,and regardless of that just because you can do it does not mean that is how everyone should be there choice if they want to give back or not,this site should be about giving and not what others have done.I do not donate food and say come on people i am starving but i still give food back,so you can also.

Nice try,your free to feel that way but the simple solution for you instead of a silly rant is just make +1 level GA problem solved.Then you can make a thread bragging about how you have no income and make Level 1 GA's

There is no obligation to give away, nor should anyone be required to do so. Why do you care, and why should it matter to you? This is a charity site. Give away and receive.

In my country, international transaction is blocked on debit cards (except those by private banks which only corporate and rich people can afford) and there aren't a single student friendly credit cards. So I can't even buy bundles for myself, let alone others DIRECTLY.

So everyone have their own reasons, rather than judging them just set your ga to min level 1 so that the level 0s cant join. Simple.

I'm a university student with literally 0 income and serious dept, and I'm almost level 2. There's no excuse to have 0 giveaways if you are a member of this community

I'm looking from the other perspective:
Why the need of levels if you just want to giveaway a game? I just don't understand that. If I want to giveaway something in a random site like this one, I don't mind in which hands end. Why? Because I'm giving it away from me cause I don't want it. Otherwise I'd be adding it on my steam library.
So, the point is that as you level up you can access more giveaways from people that only want to give away their games to others who actually give away games. And that's how the world works as well. Big countries are solidary if they get something in exchange.

Well... I just like to think about stuff so intensly haha. Anyways, I love this site (how can I not, right?) and I'm using it how I like. If u think I'm poor you are right. Is that an excuse to not give away games? No, I don't give away games cause I prefer to add them into my steam library or giving it to my friends. I hope u didn't notice I'm not english :P

Tell me how you guys fell about SG levels and that stuff, I'm curious; see u!

Edit: I forgot to say that whenever I have money from a job it's in my plans to give away some games to compensate all I won. But for now I have to stay as I am right now. You can or can not believe that, that's another point, but I feel I have to do that in the future

Who have forced you to make any give aways with no income?

You expect a website that has free giveaways with no requirements to be free of people who don't want or cannot give anything? What kind of a fairy tale you live in?

This website is about people who like to give.... If you discriminate about people who chose not to give at all then your intentions are not pure either way....

It is none of your business what people do with their money. It just so have happened that you chose to spend it on gifts to strangers. Now live with your choice and stop judging others

The OP is maybe a little harsh but he or her has valid thoughts, points and questions and he or she doesn't break any SG rules by countering xxxx$/0.00$ " contributors " by setting the level requirements of the giveaways to level 1+ or more. It's the prerogative of the gifter to set on his or here giveaways the level requirements he or she deems fit; period!

I don't get why people are always so concerned with what others do/don't do. As long as it doesn't affect you directly, who cares?

If people spent as much time improving themselves as they do trying to improve everyone else, the world would be a much better place.

Well actually i won some games by the time i joined this community and i decided to give some games too. So i said why not create a train? I planned to get a 10 euro paysafecard and buy some games. Some hours later paysafecards stopped production in Greece, cause you know economy and etc and i couldnt do the train. I was like "oh well" and i purchased a cheap game with some cs go skins and gave it away. So actually that 1 giveaway i made is like 0.

If I can afford to give games away, anyone can. Some people are not interested in giving, however. To each his own.

I don't use steamgifts too often. But meh 4 giveaways seems good to me.

The only time I'm ever annoyed by level 0 users is when I check their Steam profile (say, if they win one of my games) and they're a level 80 with games up for trade in their inventory. That is just really, really shitty, IMHO.

It is a bit sad when people have upwards of 400+ games on steam and don't give anything and only take, but I wouldn't blacklist for it. I would love to share with everyone, but I don't really want to deal with people who misuse the site or don't understand it, so I use level restrictions which is unfortunate for the people who can't afford to give. :(

You could change the rule to start an account at 0 points and not let it accrue any points until a giveaways is completed.

lv10 giveaways are the solution.

or a whitelist with just cg inside.

or just buy the game for yourself. :3
