So there is a train, but isn't this advertisement anyways, as you generate clicks for your own youtube video?

16. Third party giveaways that require or reward users for performing profitable actions. For example, linking to a giveaway on another service that requires or incentivizes users to click a referral link, like a Facebook page, follow a Twitter account, join a Steam group, complete a survey, sign-up for a newsletter, or make a donation.
Guidelines
i always thought that putting a GA link in another site was against the rules, but i've just changed my mind.
rule above says "third party giveaways" (and it should means that giveaways are hosted elsewhere) "that require or reward ... For example, linking to a giveaway on another service that requires or incentivizes..."
i put links of GA's on my website, t3aztv wrote the code at YouTube, you've written it in a jigidi... they're all hosted here. and there might be ads on my website, YouTube and Jigidi (and if someone wants to enter has to come here, at SG)
what do you and others think about it?
that said, gonna build up a shiiiiny new site.

You are most likely right. It does however possibly generate revenue when on youtube, unlike Jigidi and other personal websites and I guess that's what the rule is trying to prevent maybe. Just like referral links are forbidden.
Personally I don't find it problematic. I doubt t3aztv made a fortune on the couple hundreds who solved the puzzle and if it helps SG users attract some attention on their channel or projects, while doing something fun and giving away gifts, everyone's a winner.

When the facts at hand are not always as clear as they seem, interpreting and looking at things from different perspectives can lead us to a better understanding
