When getting a PC specifically for gaming I really, really wouldn't advise purchasing anything pre-built. It is very difficult to get a setup that will run how you would like if you just accept what the manufacturer has already on the table. Even if cost is an issue there are places that you can customize on a budget. Just don't pull a Doc and go to Alienware to do it :p

Even if you don't want to build one yourself, I know a better option. Buy the parts and pay one of your computer savvy friends to assemble it for you. You'll end up with a faster, totally upgradeable PC.

Does anybody know of anywhere, or of any, pre-built gaming PCs around the £600 mark?
