No it is not normal. Especially if you play Multiplayer games. MOBAs and FPS games for sure even MMORPGs.....being drunk is nearly required to deal with half the community in these types of games.

I used to greatly enjoy playing League of Legends while drunk. I stopped doing it though cause I kept drunkenly buying skins.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare has been the most drunk fun for me. The Battlefield series had it's moments too.
