I'm even surprised that you guessed number 8, I think it's one of the harder puzzles if not the hardest. And yes, these games are my most favorite ones. Especially the first one.

Number 8 is a classic and I love it! If something is more awesome than its battle system it would be its deliciously horribly dated voice acting (I come back to hear the lines of certain magician antagonist from time to time...)

To be honest I did play it several times too and I consider it a good game but most people will say its shit. Mostly because of lengthy battle animations and wonky leveling system.
