[Free] Watch Dogs 2 (PC) @Ubisoft July, 12

A couple of years i would have jump all the hoops to get this one, but with time i realized and more importantly got to a point where i was looking at what they are offering and actually realizing this is the base version and if i want to play anything more from the game i have to cough up, up to the full price of the game to buy the add-ons.

What a fail? An epic disaster!

Welp, Ubisoft, am disappoint. Usually am cool with them, have many games there and I never have any issues. Watched the stream because I was genuinely interested in upcoming games and news, mainly Trials, Rocksmith and maybe a skate game, the games they showed were nice but I was hoping for anything on the the aforementioned ones, no problem, I dont even care if I get any of the freebie(s). Just tried to log into my account and it says I am logged out because too many attempts of trying to log in. Wtf, so I go and reset my password just in case and the link they sent is expired, try that a few more times so currently have a banned account and it is impossible to move forward besides an endless loop of trying to reset my password which simply prompts the message 'An error occurred while trying to send your request. Please try again later'. I made sure to at least let an hour pass as well but nope. I understand that many children were trying to get a free game and shit is being overloaded, hoping it will be back to normal before long because Im on the -Ubisoft is shite- train for now. Let`s see tomorrow I guess.

I signed up earlier today and it is still not in my account.

Just got an Email with my rewards. Two problems, though:

1. It said, if you're over 18, you'd get Watch Dogs 2, and if you're not, you'd get Child of Light. I'm far over 18, yet I still got Child of Light instead of Watch Dogs 2?!

2. When I log into my Ubisoft account, I can only play a Child of Light DEMO, not the full game?!

If it helps anyone, I signed up within the hour of the new registration page being up, and I haven't received the game yet. I doubt it was a first-come, first-served type of thing. The only thing you can do is be patient.

If you've used uPlay+, Watch_Dogs 2 may be in your Hidden section in uPlay. That's where I found mine today.

In my uPlay library (uPlay->Games) there are 5 sections.

Installed
My Games
Free Games
Expired
Hidden

After my uPlay subscription expired, all the games I had loaded showed in My Games with a uPlay+ symbol on them but I couldn't play them so I used the pulldown menu under each game to hide them. Now when I get those games, they often show up under Hidden and no longer have a uPlay+ symbol and I have to unhide them to get them back into My Games.

Got it, it's dropping now. Check your Uplay games list in the Uplay application.
