So i'm gonna get a Motorola droid razr HD used, it costs around $100 used. I don't even need a phone I just need something with proper internet access, any thoughts of the phone? Is there any other good phone used that I could get for around $100?

Yup, im a noob, but your retarted. A lot of it matters on RAM and GPU. A mali-400 ain't gonna do shit in these Chinese shits. 1 GB or more is adequate, a chinese phone and a decent smartphone both probably have 1.2 GHZ of processing power, but GPU really comes into play here....noob.

i could never get a phone with 1gb ram. my used andriod razr i got for 50 bucks (company manufactured lol) i regret buying cuz it only has 1gb of ram. once you start getting 30 apps in the thing it starts to lag so bad from lack of ram.

just 1gb more would have changed my life. i only use wifi on it cuz idc about phones. but yea sucks i constantly have to use AVG to optimize my running programs just to give it a speed boost for 30 minutes v__v

i really need to sell this and find a phone with 2gb ram

I had a Droid Razr HD MAXX a year or two ago, damn good phones. Though, I haven't kept up on their value versus age, so not sure if $100 is a great price. But, the phone is good.
As for durable, my friend's boss left his on top of his car, drove off, then realized and came back for it. Thing was on the side of the road pavement and barely scratched.

So how much is it worth used? I know it's a little bit old, which it's why it's $100 used when the MSRP was like $600. The OS dosen't bother me because I can just fix it Cyanogenmod, but is the performance good?

I guess for no contract that could be good, but I honestly don't know. I had the phone while I worked a side job for a while, and then the phone left when the job did. Since then I got myself a newer phone on contract. So, I don't keep up on used phone values to help you there.
Seemed plenty good performance wise. Easy enough to find specs and benchmark comparisons, but I doubt apps have advanced enough since then to truly pose the phone a challenge.
One thing I liked is that it is durable and already rubber coated. I hate putting cases on my phones, including the Samsung Galaxy phones I've had. Just try not to drop any smart phone right on its corner.

I'm using that exact same phone right now, and I feel pretty satisfied with it. It has a decent camera if you're into that, able to take pretty nice pictures and videos. It uses gorilla glass, which can take a lot of abuse, I feel that it is tougher than your average smartphone. Looking at performance, I feel it runs things pretty well, but that is just my opinion.

For $100, even used, I think would be worth it.

How well does it run games? (Exaple -- Dead trigger 2)

I did play a couple games, but not usually the ones that require a lot of resources. I think that it runs games pretty well, keep in mind that it does get pretty hot after a while when running a demanding game

Moto E

I was definetely thinking about that, but the specs for it is pretty bad though. It has 4 GB of internal storage, thats wwaaaay to low for me to use. The camera on the moto e is 480P @ 30 FPS, while the one of the droid is 1080P @ 30 FPS, to add on to that, the droid has a much better screen (which is hd) while the one on the Moto E is really crappy. The only advantage I see to the Moto E is that it's more durable, but on the other hand the droid has a kevlar and rubber backing. A HUGE one where the droid wins is the battery life.
