I was thinking on buying the complete Civ5 from GMG (here: http://www.greenmangaming.com/green-thursday-vip/).

The thing is I already have the base game and the first expansion. I was wondering if anyone was already in a similar situation and can tell me if I get the extra parts as gifts in the inventory or if it merges with I have now.

Thanks in advance

Buy the upgrade to gold edition, it is probably cheaper and it will give you all of the DLC you are missing but Brave New World.

And it is probably cheaper to get the upgrade on steam, I got it for 5 bucks during the last winter sale!

He should only buy the BNW, because he sais that he has the base game and G&K. Other DLCs aren't that important imo.

I agree, but BNW at 75% off is 7.49$.
The complete version is usually 12.49$ (at 75% off), but in the VIP section they sell it for 9.62$.
It's still 2.13$ more then just BNW, but... you know...

I don't see it on Steam.
They probably removed it in favor of the complete edition.

If anyone was curious, an answer form their forums:

"It will merge. In general, after activating the Complete edition the DLCs that You don't already own will be added to your account, but You will not receive any copies or gifts of either the base game or the DLCs that You already had on your account before that."
