Yoku's Island Express was superb on the Steam Deck.
The pinball mechanics work really well on a handheld device.

I've noticed that lately, I've been primarily using my steam deck for watching movies via SMB shared folder. However, I haven't been able to figure out how to add the follder to the steam library for easier access in a couple of clicks.I still play games, but often find myself too tired on weekdays to actually play something. Vacation is coming
ps. It seems that I should buy a TV

I'm currently playing through Pizza Tower going for 101%. Also recently played through Cavern of Dreams and did a little retro pc gaming with Captain Claw.

I'm playing between lots of games at the moment :) Hogwarts Legacy, Minecraft, No Man's Sky, Temtem, Dinkum, and Life is Strange 2 have all ran beautifully on it, I'm really impressed and happy :D I actually haven't had a big problem with any games, there's usually always some easy way to get them to work, but most of them have started all great on their own!

I currently have the transparent limited edition version of the Steam Deck. I am a bit ashamed to admit, I also got the original release, but I'm a sucker for the see-through case. I don't know if I want to activate the second Deck's rewards on my account since I already have all the stuff from the original Steam Deck and it's not tradeable. I keep a second Steam account just for multiplayer games I may want to play with a friend, so I'm thinking of activating it there, but then I won't have the OLED keyboard.
Edit: OLED Startup Movie?! Are there any other differences between the original Steam Deck rewards and the OLED ones?

I have been gaming exclusively on it ever since I got it, Christmas 2022. Once I went bed, I could never go back to desk. Sometimes I run games natively, many times I use it and my desktop in tandem via streaming. Currently still playing Baldur's Gate 3. 269 hours in, second playthrough.

Could I Join even if I don't yet have Steam Deck (but plan to)
Also
Is there a list or website outside of Steam that updates regularly with games that do and don't work
Thanks

Thank you!
I automatically installed a lot of games and now I'm sorting them out and testing them.
Indeed, I've also decided to play a fast and repetitive game (CUPHEAD / Binding of Isaac) alternating with other longer games. This machine is incredible!

I've been using my SD mainly for emulating, reliving some old memories. I recently tried re-playing Super Meat Boy on it after what must have been almost 15 years? The controls worked surprisingly well. I'm just a little Sadge that I didn't wait a little longer so I could've gotten the OLED version instead.
I'm looking to pick up playing Steam games again and have downloaded a selection that I think would work well on SD, mainly platformers and JRPGs. But I'm curious if you happen to have any favorites/suggestions on SD?

Request sent. I love to play Forza Horizon on my Deck but I'm actually using more my Deck as a second PC docked.

Lol I use the exclusive background and avatar frame on my profile, that's proof already, but please reject my request if that's not enough.

I added the items to my account and applied!
I only got my steam deck a few months ago, when the OLED released. So far i'm loving it. Best games so far i played on it is probably "Nordic Ashes" and "Tinykin". But I recently got Cozy Grove to play it purely on my SD. ๐งก
Would love to share SD games with you all!

"Gifts On Deck" has a strong emphasis on gifting games that can be played and are enjoyable on the Steam Deck. Exclusive only to members of a profile that has purchased a Steam Deck.
To join:
When you buy a Steam Deck, you can claim rewards on your account. Before requesting to join, display those "untradable steam deck items" that you received when claiming. The items must be on your profile/item showcase at the time you request to join (or in your inventory if you've made it public). Leave the items on your profile at least until I have verified and added you to the group. [If you haven't claimed your rewards, click on your avatar in the top right and you'll see it in the menu.]
Post a comment below about your steam deck (a favorite game or what you're currently playing, etc). I will reply to your comment when you've been accepted. I will no longer accept any requests to join the group without a comment in this thread.
