To my shock I didn't pass the SGTools check.
And it led me down a really weird rabbit hole. I won a game called "Measurement Problem" (which I did activate). Its been removed from the steam store it seems (and there's a NEW game Measurement Problem game in coming soon, to make things more complicated in the future, lol).
However if I try to re-enter my code from the GA, it says product already owned, and calls said product simply "APP 534960". Also the image for the original giveaway page has been changed to PUBG.
I have to say this is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen.

Same here. I have no idea which game it's talking about, how do you find out? I thought it just glitches

If you get something like this and want to track it down, go to:
https://www.sgtools.info/activation
Then enter your steamgifts name and it will tell you exactly what was to blame.
You can also see other users, so I checked yours just now, and it is in fact, the same game. A Measurement Problem indeed.

Here's what it looks like, since it was a group GA and I can't link it.
(I redacted the group and creator since its not their fault obviously).
Now the front image is PUBG and the game is removed so it just leads to the main steam storefront if you click through.

Thanks so much for the info, somehow I missed this debacle and resulting threads when it happened. A very interesting read, if for all the wrong reasons. A shame too, because I would have eventually gotten around to playing it and it looked like it was a decent indie game at one point.
I remember some stuff about a gold coin scheme/scam but I had no idea any of it was related to this seemingly innocuous game.
