• An asterisk next to a game title on the Create a Giveaway list indicates that the game is included in the bundle list, Well in case that also apply to Dead Island Riptide from the Humble Deep Silver Bundle but there no asterisk next to this game title.
So what you think of this

Dead Island Riptide is not in Bundle List for now so it has no asterisk. That means the rule is not broken.
The rule says nothing about circumstances on which game is added in Bundle List.

You can clear lee you see on the Humble Deep Silver Bundle on web site as 3rd option

So where is this rule on SG that says that anything you see on the Humble Bundle website has to be added to the bundle list here?

So what? The rule says nothing about bundles or bundle sites.
Rule says only about this Bundle List, not a single word about how it is generated.

since you seem to be having trouble grasping this, I'll go slow:
Those are examples of how CONTRIBUTOR VALUE is calculated, and the rules state that WHEN A GAME IS IN THE LIST, that is how it's value is calculated. THERE IS NOTHING IN THOSE LINKS OR THE RULES THAT STATES WHEN A GAME MUST BE ADDED TO THE BUNDLE LIST only what happens to games that DO get added to the bundle list.

Sorry if that sounded condescending. It was, but I'm sorry about it. It's just... this has been explained like 3 times above already, but you apparently keep missing the point. This is a better link, but it basically says that the games on that list are ones that "could be abused". Which at $25, Dead Island: Riptide will hardly do.

They normally don't * bundle games, until later on when they have already won a copy for themselves (that way more purchase them and there's a higher chance of winning) :)

Riptide isn't on the bundle list for an obvious reason to me. It takes a minimum $25 contribution to unlock DI:R. Which as the humble site says is a 37% Discount. At that level of discount it's standard steam sale level of % off.

That the point it should on the list after all if pay $25 you get all 6 games + 18 DLC after all it part of the package deal, It not you pay $25 and you only Riptide then that would be a diff matter.

A: $1 is under average
Saints Row 2
Saints Row: The Third
Risen 2: Dark Waters
Sacred 2 Gold

B: $5 is above average
Dead Island: Game of the Year Edition
Saints Row: The Third - Full Package DLC only listed below
Saints Row: The Third - Genki Girl DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Horror DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Special Ops Vehicle DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Steelport Gangs DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Nyte Blayde DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Warrior DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Witches and Wieners DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Penthouse DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Invincible DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Money Shot DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Shark Attack DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Explosive Combat DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Z Style DLC
Saints Row: The Third - FUNTIME! DLC
Saints Row: The Third - The Trouble With Clones DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Gangstas In Space DLC
Saints Row: The Third - Genkibowl VII DLC

C: is 25$+
Dead Island Riptide

You can't buy just one or other of game it all above game and possible even rumors that there maybe 3 more bonus game with package later on.

Sorry, this is flawed logic. If there was only one option - to pay $25 for the whole thing, then yes it would mean the $25 is split between all the games.

However, this is not the case. In a tiered structure the value of the items is only what it takes to unlock that tier.

IE:

  • All of the items in (A) are worth $1 only.
  • All of the items in (B) are worth $4 only (the amount it takes to raise tier A to tier B).
  • The item in (C) is worth $20 (the amount it takes to raise tier B to C).

Therefore, Riptide is being sold for $20 and nothing less.

That true but you can't buy it by it self there is part of a bundle

Comment has been collapsed.

Even so, $20 for Riptide is not a huge discount and it would be treated just like an Amazon "Bundle" or a GetLoadedGo "Bundle".

The bundle list is to target games being sold at 95%+ off (4 games for $1, etc). That's why Just Cause is on the list, for being 96% off despite not being in a bundle. It's also why none of the Bioshock games are on the list even though they are in a "Bioshock Triple Pack" bundle on Amazon for $35.

There is no set-in-stone rule, games are added using common sense to prevent abuse of the CV system and nothing more.
