Is it odd that I never got a copy, ever? I got a key from the beta a long, looooooong time ago and activated it, played the game once to get it to register in SG, and never touched it since.

Then all the people are talking about "OMG so many DotA2 copies in my INVENTOREIS!!!!" and I'm just sitting here wondering "what the fuck is going on".

Not sure but I think you get drops as you play it in the same way that trading cards work. So if you only played it once, you wouldn't have any. Idk I don't play it either so I wouldn't know.
