FAQ / Additional info

1) There will be no extra game for subscribers.

source

Planar conquest was a gift for early adopters that stuck around for G2A Deal #2. The extra game was a one time thing.

2) How to unsubscribe?

  • Go here - https://www.g2a.com/deals/index/
  • Click "Deactivate" where your Monthly Membership status is shown
  • Also be sure to check your paypal account too, for any remaining allowed billing from g2a (thanks Omicron666)

My guess is they couldnt get a good enough headline title and just threw some shit at the wall to see what sticks. The developer of The Uncertain sells directly on G2A, if they're hoping that carries this bundle they're really mistaken.

I just cancelled the paypal prepayment.
Should I still need to unsubscribe on g2a website?? Because I bought direct without registered account on g2a for Deal #1 & #2?

Should I still unsubscribe on g2a website?

Obviously.

I remember several people claiming G2A blocked their account for canceling / disputing payments over PayPal.
Maybe this is different because this is a direct debit agreement and those other people tried to contest sales that had already happened (I think) but it's still extremely rude to break a contract without telling the other side you would like to cancel that contract first. Specially when you have the right to end the contract at any time.

Yeah, and even as early adopter I still haven't received it to this very day with their support closing my ticket without any reply ;p

Cool, I just unsubscribed. If no other benefits of being a subscriber exist then it's not worth the risk of having a billing agreement with them just for that 0.5 € price difference between active subscribers and one-timers (especially considering their latest mess with multiple charges).

So nice from them to give me one less thing to worry about.

Can't you always resub to get discount anyways :P

Yes, but the only incentive to remain subscribed was the mysterious bonus game that was available only to subscribers. With that out of the way, there's no point in having the subscription anymore. And the price difference doesn't justify the risk.

Also, considering we're discussing about G2A, it's entirely possible for someone that subscribes and unsubscribes before and after each monthly bundle to find their account locked at some point for wtv reason. I'm not saying it will certainly happen but it's entirely possible.

Deactivated, thanks for the heads up. I was on the fence as a couple games are decent (even if bundled) but with no subscriber bonus there's no reason to stay subscribed anyway.

I just disabled it. They charged me for the protection shield I didn't ask for. Maybe it was me and missed to tick a box NOT to activate it.

Maybe you just missed one Shield deactivation button, of all the 700 there are in one operation.

Please let me inform you that there is bundle been sent with 5 games and for 3th g2a deal we don't have any extra keys. For our 2nd deal we had additional promotional key for subscribers from 1st deal. Please let me inform you that regard of terms and conditons of g2a deal refund regard that case not possible.

Also, their terms and conditions brings:

11.5 Products that have been retrieved from the Site (or any other website where it can be retrieved) are considered used and may not be refunded.

So G2A pretty much don't feel obligated to follow their own terms and conditions... :D

Wait.... They are charging and sending out keys? That not how they originally said it. Subscribers were supposed to get an email saying what the new deal was with a couple days to cancel if they they wanted. I never got any emails on this deal. I only knew what the deal was from this thread. When It said that it started on the 11th I was expecting them to send out the emails today, then charge and send keys in a couple days. I got an email on the last one before it started.

Oh well. I unsubscribed last night just in case so I'm good. I have all but tempest and mushrooms and I don't want the fungus. :)

Did they send out an email a couple days ago that I just never got or did they change the rules again?

Edit.... And thanks to the OP for the thread. you saved me money today. :)

Good thing I unsubscribed after the screw-up last time, I guess. And it's a pity, since the first two were pretty good.

Doesn't look too bad but not worth the $3.50 odd that it will end up being with their PayPal fees, one time purchase and euro to dollar conversion.

I am lucky in this matter since I have no PayPal account. Bought G2A gift card 2x€20($42.34) card by paying my friend. Bought it specially for their genuine G2A deals. No use I guess now after deals getting this bad.
I got $42.34 gift-card for $44.42. About 5% one time extra charge.
Pros of buying G2A wallet/card I see is:

  • I pay €2.49/€2.99 per deal, no extra charge. Which gets relatively cheap comparing $3.5 for €2.99 deal. Difference in ratio might be because of conversion rate during our purchases. And this one might be wrong.
  • Easier refund: At g2a deal #2 when everyone was charged multiple times those with third party payment service like paypal had to wait ages to get refunded, some didn't get refunded at all. I got my balance within a week.

Now I think it doesn't matter at all. I will finish what's left on wallet and end subscription.
