Divinity: Original Sin 2 is an excellent game. Never played the first one.

Not sure about 2, but I played 1 and disliked it. The game seemed to coat itself in a paint of cynical humour that made everything feel uninteresting, and there was way too much stuff in even the first city, that created complete analysis paralysis. These 2 things made me willing to drop the game super quickly

Devs/publishers that don't deduct the price of games you already own from bundles...
I think they're pegging people who buy games early, before steep discounts as "idiots who will buy even without bundles".
So I don't buy them.

This is tempting. I have both on top of my wishlist. BUT... then I have so many games I need to play. lol.

I've only played the second and it was amazing. Thoroughly worth it. If you like tactical combat and having multiple solutions to problems, not to mention really personable characters, you will love it.

It's a great deal, but I bought them too early and too expensive.

It actually includes a bit more than shown on that package page, namely:
Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition - Soundtrack
Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition - Design Documents
Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition - Art Pack
https://steamdb.info/sub/207168/apps/
So it basically includes Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition - Collector's Edition.
Also - while pb1 is right about packages not substracting prices of already owned products - these "must purchase together" packages are also simply not bound in any way to the individual prices of the products included like "complete your set" bundles are. They have a package price and a package discount. And if the publisher doesn't pay attention or doesn't care when setting up sales, it can come to situations like this where the individual products are discounted more than the package. I've actually seen this quite often.
