I would say the community is the main reason im here, users on sites like this are usually uncaring, just a bunch of people trying to win points to get better chances, but SG is different.
You actually have better odds by being an active member in the forum(there's private giveaways, puzzles...), it's also more satisfying when you give something away for other to enjoy

I used ezgif.com to add text to the gif and then I linked the image directly from there, but that site doesn't host your images so they are removed after a while.

SteamGifts is an alright site. The community can be pretty hostile at times and there are some problems with it, but you can learn to handle and enjoy it once you familiarize yourself with the customs and conventions of the site. There are a number of great people here, however, so just so long as you ignore the trolls and shitposters, you should be fine. (This kind of goes for all sites and communities, but I might as well mention it anyway.)
Be sure to read the FAQ and Guidelines (which are basically the rules). I'd also recommend reading the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and perhaps the section on Comment Formatting if you intend to participate in the forums.
EDIT: I think what you're referring to is the Contributor Value (CV) system, which is a major component of virtually all giveaway sites. SteamGifts also has a Contributor Level system, wherein you can receive access to higher-leveled giveaways the more you yourself give away. GameMiner, SteamCompanion, PlayBlink, and GalaGiveaways all operate with this feature, as do many other giveaway sites. Unlike GameMiner and and PlayBlink, however, the users on SG, SC, and GG give away the gifts directly; and unlike PlayBlink in particular, users get to decide the giveaway levels (if any).
From your description, you are probably from PlayBlink, since they are the most restrictive.

I dont find the community hostile at all, of course they are some users that are pretty hostile but it is the minority, i think the community here is pretty great and fun :D you are a living proof of it !

An exception is naught but a minority to the rule.
I've experienced quite a lot of hostility in this community, although I do admit that I am partly to blame for it. Needless to say, however, people here aren't a fan of serious criticism. The community is more fond of joking around and small talk, so when someone who is serious and fond of discussion arrives, they aren't very welcomed.

So the fact that I am critical, serious, and rigorous in my argumentation is the problem? That's like saying the problem with society is that they take politics and economics and religion too seriously. Sorry, but not everything need be carefree, especially when the issue warrants serious thought. The problem wasn't the discussion itself, either, but rather how people reacted and responded to it.
I could easily accuse the community's attitude as being the problem, but I know that's pointless and won't lead anywhere. I'm the odd one out here, and apparently nonconformity is not acceptable.

People taking religion too seriously is one of society's problems. You're welcome to believe in whichever imaginary friend(s) you like, but when it comes to alienating/judging other people for not believing in the same one as you, it gets ridiculous. When it comes down to it, the core tenets of most religions are very similar.
However, an internet site aimed at giving away games and general puzzle threads/advice about gaming clearly isn't the ideal place to discuss politics et al. Complaining there's something wrong with a gaming community that doesn't want SRS discussions about whatever strong opinions you hold is like complaining that nobody wants to have conversations about gaming and bearclown babies on a church forum. Honestly, stop being butthurt becaus nobody panders to your individual interest and find somewhere else more suited to it. There are literally communities for everything. You're not a special little snowflake.

Your discussions are okay. Sure, you obviously love to listen yourself but no one is perfect and I believe your overall intentions are good. However you've got something in you making me want to figuratively slap you, even if I agree with you.
When it comes to meta-discussions and assumed “affairs” however... You are being as toxic as the others you are bashing. Change your attitude from the rightful martyr to lead others by example and everything will be fine, or better at least.

I've only used the GameMiner site and I do not like to give away objects "boxes" in which you have to invest your money for you then you feel cheated, Also do not need me to be poking through the eyes constantly investing money in the site . At the moment the impression I have of stamgifts is the opposite of Gameminer, many fine details like that does not allow creating giveaways with games that day give away in Indiegala or other pages of bundles, or you can not enter a giveaway a game that you already have in your Steam account so people have more opportunities to win games and giveaways avoid speculating ... spend money to buy better options to win giveaways.... Well this is optional in all sites(including this, making game giveaways, for which you get levels(CV), you get to join level giveaways and they give smaller entry=more chance.)

I won twice already it only took me 800 entries. Love this site and both gifts were quickly received! (Also unfortunately both were shitty dlcs that were just cosmetic :()

may i ask,If you won twice why didn't you marked the second one as received?
about winning "shitty dlc´s" you only have yourself to blame for that, no one forced you to enter, perhaps you would be happier by not participating on those and give the opportunity for someone who might appreciate them more

I didn't mark as received because the second one because as of the time I posted that message, I had won the second one exactly 6 minutes beforehand. People aren't always there to over see their giveaways 24/7, so I can't expect immediately receive it. Also I understand that they could take up to to a week to deliver them. As for the dlcs, I am not frustrated or complaining that I won the dlcs, I am merely a bit upset that out of 800 entries I only won 2 items both of which were cheap dlcs which I didn't exactly want, yet still glad to have won them.

Consider yourself lucky. I found pictures of you in far more compromising positions. (There are some search terms on Google that do tend to give you a certain type of imagery.)

Im incoming here from rebound to the other giveaways site and i need tell us that my first impression is very good. In the other site need spend money to buy better options to win giveaways and the rules are more hards than here, thanks for this site an please keep this way.
