Are foils THAT rare?

1 foil from couple of hundreds cards. Very luck based.

So far I've only gotten 1 foil which was a drop in Hitman: Absolution. Sold it for a dollar :P

Edit: Since everyone else is saying how many booster packs they have had, I have gotten just 1 booster pack :P
I'm eligible for 16 games and I'm only level 12.

Got 2 foils out of ~200 cards and about 8 booster packs so far.

I once got 4 foils within 24 hours. That's all the foils I have ever gotten.

I am eligible for a booster pack for 125 titles and I had ONE foil drop. So don't despair OP ;)

Only got 1 foil so far.

In 12 games (~75cards) I got 1 foil for WotV (which was sold for 5euro). Now I have 10 more games to get cards from.

PS: I also got 2 booster packs.

25 games are booster eligible, 4 foils.
One of the foils is (theoretically) worth 5$, so that's nice.
Gotten only 1 booster pack so far.

Foils are so rare that I was cleaning out my backlog of trading cards and accidentally put a foil on the market for 0.15 cents. I wasn't paying attention and was clearing out my inventory as soon as possible

Got 12 since the beta started. Currently have 204 games eligible for booster packs.

what are foils exactly and what can you do with them and how do you create them?

I don' have that much games, but for my games i got 3 foil cards and no booster packs so far. And just to mention I'm level 9.

I got lucky this morning. I bought about a dozen boosters off the market, and got 2 foils. But I do get them quite regularly from buying booster packs. But I buy and sell cards and boosters A LOT every day, so I probably see more than most. Good luck to everyone. Card trading is fun!

I've sold 182 cards. I've got total of 4 foil cards. I am eligible for booster packs in 59 games (will be 65 in few days) I've crafted total 19 badges from cards, my level is 20.

Are foils really that rare? I thought that chances are about 2% to get one.

I got 0 foils since trading card beta (I`m level 24) so... they're rare indeed.

think you're just being unlucky. i get them pretty regularly, maybe once a month. got a few foil snowglobes in the winter sale that went for $6 ea too :D
