Not arguing the quality of games and etc but seems decent if you want to upgrade or complete your collection if you own a lot of the stuff included in the bundle. This could be easily implemented for games with complete/GOTY editions etc.

There is also this bundle that works same way: http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/153/

It's something new to me. I did not know this was already being used on Steam.

Looks like a good option to complete the game collections or upgrade a game with DLCs

Yes, should have been like this since the start since most bundle/collection purchases do not give extra copies or proportional discounts
No, if I paid separately for games or DLC, it's my problem. Good things come to those who wait. Screw the early adopters.
No, I like to pay twice for my games, there is so much entitlement involved about this matter!

I remember looking at that adult swim bundle in a previous sale, wasn't cheap enough... :) But now with only paying for what you're missing, it should be something to bookmark for the Summer Sale or whatever it's called this year... :)

Yeah, Dynamic pricing is new optional feature for bundles on steam ( /bundle/xxx/ instead of /sub/xxx/ )
If dynamic pricing isn't used, you can't buy that bundle.

There's more too.

This is what GOG has been doing forever, reducing a bundle's cost if you already owned games contained within it. Welcome to the modern age, Steam.

Nuuvem too has done this. What annoys me with GOG is that the discount is often not good unless you buy the entire bundle though.

Finally! I would have bought so many more bundles/complete editions if they used this. Hopefully this spreads to everything on the Steam store like it is on GOG.

Individual price of the 10 items you don't already have: $18.10

Bundle discount: 15%

Your cost: $15.37

Well, crap.

Time to try this out with some other things then.

Edit i suspect it's something that works with bigger name things only, no luck with the master Tale of Allynex collection or the master EXCeed collection (woudl be nice to get the OSTs in oe swoop)

Nice! This should be handy for the next steam sale, I somehow tend to have a few games from each bundle and thus put off on buying them.
