I'm not sure if something like this exists and I just don't know about it, or if it doesn't exist or if it's even possible....

What i'm looking for is something that takes my SG whitelist, looks at all their Steam wishlists, and gives me a little report on if there's overlap and what the most wished for games are (assuming that their profiles on Steam are public).

If it does exist, can someone point me to it please? Otherwise, I guess I can do it by hand, but it just doesn't sound like a fun chore to do something nice.

Thank folks.

I like how if you need something for SG, it's probably a feature in ESGST.

I'm running that too to see if the output is nicer or has something different. And thanks for this....ESGST is awfully nice for features, but there's just so much in there I'm sure I miss half of it.

How exactly do you use the ESGST one? I have ESGST, but had no idea it had such functionality.

I've never used the feature. From what I can see you have to turn the feature on in settings and then click a button on your whitelist page.

SGTools is a "one of these days" thing. i'll get there, but more interested in doing something for my Whitelist. Been seeing a lot of whitelist GA's lately, and feel like I should return the favor.

I've been looking for exactly the same thing recently. Could you let us know what you think between the Userscript Zomby linked and the ESGST one?

Sure! If you want a review, I can do that.

I ran them both, and they both take a decent amount of time to complete (me whitelist is around 250 people or so, so your mileage my vary). I guess it took like twenty minutes and the script that that Zomby posted finished first. That said, they BOTH finished way before I would have made much headway, so the time thing didn't bother me in the slightest.

As far as output, both were the same results as well.

ESGST looks very much in line with how SG looks in general...which is nice from a consistency perspective. It also had a thing for showing the whitelist library's too, but I wasn't looking for that really, but nice if you were I guess.

The script returned a separate web page and it was a bit more spread out and the font was a bit bigger. The nice thing here was there a little IsThereAnyDeal link next to each game in the list, which was convenient.

Overall, I probably will do the script variant again. The best feature is that ITAD link, and if either would actually look up the game on ITAD and pull the historic low and current low, that would be amazing, but honestly, this was a ton less work than I thought it would be and I was very pleased I asked before going out to do it myself.

Don't know if this is part of ESGST but there is also this.. a simplified version that I use before buying a game to check if people have it on their wishlist. SteamGifts Library Checker
