Everyone has access to Trading Cards, ok. Everyone has the games to get those cards? NOPE.

Dog with funny eyebrows has a point. Not everyone has all the games, or even most of the games. Most people have less than 50 games in their library.

Exactly, anyone who even had at least 20 games in their library and were interested in cards already got beta invite.

Has to. General supply and demand economics.

Not necessarily, assuming the general public behaves the same the beta testers, the price should remain constant.

Assuming the general public behaves the same the beta testers, the price will drop dramatically since everyone would try to sell their cards quick and therefore they'll lower the price every 5 minutes to make their offer the cheapest one.

But not everyone did try to sell them, a lot of people bought them. I agree that the price will probably drop, since the people who actually do have an interest in the cards probably would be in the beta already. However if he general public behaves he same as the beta testers then theoretically the same proportion of people selling and buying should exist, In fact, the proportion of buyers would be higher (since once you sell all your cards you cannot continue to sell them whereas buyers can always buy). However since the general public will probably not behave the same as the testers he price will probably drop,

Which implies that it wont change, because you're increasing both supply and demand by the same amount (approx).

Nope. Supply will increase drastically compared to the Demand (if the current trend is any indication).

Depends on whether the majority of the general public want either the levels or the steam wallet.

The price will probably go up at first, more people have access to the card system, but they don't have cards yet. After a while the price will drop since all the new people will start to find cards.

... and then when a lot of bage are created and new cards will lacking the price should raise again

Don't forget more booster packs will drop when more badges are crafted

i know. but booster contains only 1/2 of the cards used for crafting the badge. So the booster's drop will slow down the process but the price will rise soon or later.

Remember when a few people had a colour tv, the price was ludicrous. Look at it now. But cards aren't tvs, I'm not an economist and I just woke up, I'm probably all wrong.

I hope not but they probably will. I've probably made a good $20-$30 off of selling these cards.

Seeing how we have no idea how cards will be related to Summer Sale it might go either way.

For example, if Valve wound announce something along "each badge means one ticket, exchange ticket for free DLCs" (like that old summer sale) price would rise since those cheap cards would be bought quite quickly.
