You awake in a dark room. Only flashes of lightning guide you as you feel your way in the dark.
Stumbling over your own feet, raising clouds of ancient dust with each trembling step, you bump into a lamp and try the cord. Dim light fills the room. As you blink the dark from your eyes you notice the dark red stains covering the wall in front of you. Praying it's not blood, despite the strong resemblance to dried blood, you slowly step back. Not mearly stains, as your eyes focus you see that a message has been writen:
Thee hath entered unto hallowed ground. Thy soul hangs in the balance. Shall thee risk it all for the prospect of laying hold upon treasure?
What madness have you awoken? How did you get here? Questions flood your brain while you take in the rest of your surroundings. There are no windows or doors visible, and the realization starts your heart pumping faster. A grouping of photographs festoons the west wall. A small notebook lies discarded below. Within it's pages a cramped and hurried script;
