I guess the reason for the sudden appearance of all those private giveaways has been answered :)

If it will be as complex as previous one then, there is a lot of work (and fun) ahead of us :)

I can't believe some people found the entrance already :(

Group puzzles have always been one of the most popular events in terms of puzzler participation. Unfortunately, they don't pop up too often because they often take tens of hours, sometimes even hundreds of hours, to prepare in addition to the costs of buying games to giveaway. My last group puzzle, for example took over 100 hours of preparation and included 42 different giveaways. Jexel, the proprietor of itstoohard, was the original founder of the group puzzle. I remember back in June last year spending hours looking up answers to trivia questions and collaborating in sgchat to solve the various puzzles scattered throughout.
Of course, there are always various strategies a puzzler can employ. One is to use the work of others, then solve the final step yourself without sharing the answer. In late June, nitsogap created a much shorter group puzzle, but with enough complexity that only a single person managed to crack the code and enter the giveaway at the end.
Sadlerd was next up in late July or early August, with a group puzzle that was solved within a day. Then in early September, I released my first group puzzle with 10 stages and 15 prizes. Although not strictly a group puzzle, and one I mentioned before already, Hanneman213's porn puzzle had an interesting dynamic where you could share a single answer to the quiz. I believe Dys also made a mind reading quiz with shared answers at some point.
The last one that I can remember came from Zelghadis. This was another one in which the solution was not shared.
At any rate, feel free to do what you want. I would advise you to work as much as you can with each other, though, because you certainly won't be solving this alone.
Group Puzzle will be posted sometime later this week. I still need to put the finishing touches on
The A Puzzle a Day event will be suspended until the giveaways for the group puzzle ends on August 10 at 11:55 PM PST
Please fill in this poll even if you don't plan to participate. Instead of posting in the group puzzle giveaways, filling in this form counts as solving the group puzzle.

Teaser (There's no giveaway behind this):
It's dangerous to go alone! Take this!
Rules:
TBD
If you solve at least half (15) of the puzzles, you will get an invite to a private giveaway when the A Puzzle a Day series concludes. I'll try to pick something that no one has already, but no guarantees. Please make a parent post in the giveaway to be counted. Also, to be invited to the bonus giveaway, post in A Puzzle a Day #30 with the puzzles you have solved. You are not required to solve the puzzles before the giveaways end. Solving them at any point in time will count towards the 15 required puzzles.
Solutions:
Ha! The positive aspect of group puzzles is that I don't have to write the solutions! Everything, thanks to zelghadis and his group has been written up in a google doc. Thanks everyone for participating.
Just for reference, the list of all giveaways are as follows (forgive me from not making clickies, because frankly I'm too lazy)
