HIB Bundle Buy Limit

So, I've found out per payment method it is restricted to 3 purchases, but is this a 24 hour anti-theft measure or is it a longer amount of time?

Thanks, I'm really needing to know.

EDIT: Emailed support again, got an automated email (as I'm sure many of you know) saying they have a huge inflow right now and will take days to respond

EDIT2: According to SG user redzrex in the comments, it may just be a 36 hour restriction.

had the same problem. you'll recieve a mail, telling you that your purchase was canceled. Just reply to this mail and ask them to raise your purchase limit. :)

Any specific details you need to send to them? I see I should contact support for it, maybe like a transaction ID or something?

I didn't give them any reason the first time. But no reply seemed harsh. We'll see. The worst part is I actually want to buy 2 gift URL's for 2 IRL friends and can't without creating accounts. But yeah, good idea there.

Yes, they sent me an automatic answer saying that they'll check my case and say something. Nothing yet.

I can't create a new HIB account and a new Paypal address? I doubt they IP track me to restrict purchases, but perhaps...

I don't know, I think if you use another payment method it can work ...

It does. You can use Paypal 6 times in a way. 3 times for an account, 3 times by typing in your card through Paypal.

I guess they recognize how popular these games are and want to restrict people who sell them for A LOT down the line. I'm currently buying it up for people who don't have credit cards though.

I heard Gamestop tried buying the bundle to resell it on their online store, thats the reason for the limit.

yup limit 3 purchases for every 24H for 1 method of purchase. Yesterday bought 3 copies using paypal, then bought another 1 using Amazon.
Today I purchase another 3 using paypal. (Lots of my friends want it) >.<

Wait...did you say 24 hours? Does that count from first or last purchase? Not that it matters, it's been about 26 hours for me and I'm restricted in every payment method I've hit the limit on.

I'll try it in a few hours then. If it's daily, I don't really care.

Interesting, they must have just added this because I ordered 5 bundles paying through amazon within the first 10 minutes of the bundle showing up and got no such limit.

Don't know, maybe they change it or maybe it's just with Paypal, me I try to buy 4 bundle during the 5 first minutes with Paypal. But I buy them one after one, maybe you've send your bundle before buy another one ...

Hey Mew2, the other night a lot of weird text appeared in our Steam chat. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm pretty sure my cat stepped on my keyboard and did some crazy shit.

We haven't traded in a while, but sorry if that got you worried. It happened to one other person as well and many old chat windows got popped up. I just don't know.
