What if..

Hello, I'm new here, and I'm just curious, what if you gift a game, and the other person waits a week and says they haven't received it? I just made a gift of titan quest, and I added the person onto Steam, and messaged them and sent them the game, but they refused to respond to me (even though they are obviously there, they just added me onto steam..) and then they signed offline, and when I refresh their games list, it doesn't show that they have the game I sent to them. I'm scared that after just joining I'm going to get bad feedback now. I sent them the key over chat, so now I fear they might use the key in another account or something (because I know this site can see if you have the game on your steam account, so that would have been proof they received it).

Thanks for any advice, because I feel silly now.

You can put in a support ticket with proof that you sent the game, and they can change the feedback listed to 'received'

Good point. I'll send an email as well. Then I can have proof of email sent during the week duration. And I did another giveaway at the exact same time and I already received the positive feedback of him getting it, so that helps my case.

I would get a sketchy person on my first game gift. It's a free game, unsure why someone would troll.

Didn't even think of that. I just thought it would be kind of cool to win free games.. to you know, play. And I had a couple extra I owned already so I gave them out. Anyone know how soon I should submit the ticket, wait the entire week?

If you already gave the game, and you're sure he knows it, you can submit it.But I actually think you still have to wait one week :(
