Go straight to picture on the bottom, that's what you're here for.

I'm one of those affected by this in the labyrinth. Figured i'll CSI the output and try for the answer. Hopefully everyone can see it clearly.

So what I did was create a puzzle with the completion message being [Capital i] [small L - i'm using this because it looks like a capital 'i' still] [zero] [Capital O]. Next I zoomed in to spot anything that might differentiate them.

As you can see, the [small letter L] marked in Red is slightly taller than the [Capital i]. Yes i know it looks like the number [one], but trust me, that number is very obvious in difference.

Also, the number [zero] is thinner than the [Capital O].

You don't have to believe me. In fact, I'd rather you'd disbelieved me, and tried it yourself. You'll be able to see the difference untarnished by anything I did on my end.

The reason i did this? Honestly, I just didn't like how people were being punished for something that they would have thought to be a problem they had to face. Maybe Kerros knew this was gonna happen, and added another layer of difficulty. Maybe not, and 'twas just an oversight.

Anyway, See you on the other side.

Flog him! I wasted time re-doing the puzzle again!
Hang him for revealing secrets!
Blacklist him for adding competition!
Thank him?

Click the picture if you can't see it clearly, it's kinda small in the preview section.

I would post it in the relevant location, but i lost it

It's part of a set of task that you have to complete to continue. The problem is that the string returned when you've completed a jigidi puzzle is so long and may contains these problem characters that would cause you to either curse and swear, redo the who puzzle, or both

Yup same problem. I had to bruteforce it unfortunately. Literally. Tried more than 10 combinations. I even felt lucky when I found it, so sad that this issue still exists in SG codes.
The I/O issue is real...

I had 6 of these problem characters, and i tried bruteforcing my way. Didn't work, so I did this instead. The best part was that the string i had to enter was NOT part of the list of strings i came up with.

Think I was one of the few lucky ones, as I only had one I/l combination, along with one 0/O (which are easier to differentiate due to width).

It doesn't matter if they are actually different according to machine resolution. What matters is if the human eye can differentiate between them (which it cannot unless really zoomed in apparently).

So what can be done? They could use a completely different font for one.
I use a customized font called "Input"(http://input.fontbureau.com/) for programmers in all of my text files.

I'm also whitelisting you considering the stuff you've given away. It means nothing right now, but it might some day.

Thanks. I would like them to change their font to serif type, that would solve all those problems. Best part is that this problem has already existed in the past

I was lucky and had not as many O/0 or I/l in the code and hit the right one at second try.
Apparently if you switch the jigidi to HTML5 you can copy paste the answer. Don't know though how it's done or if it can be done after solving (maybe when logged in?)

Add "&g=5" to the end. It converted to what i assumed to be HTML5 for me in Google Chrome. Did not test in other browsers though.

Thanks for the info. Will try how the HTML5 is going the next time around :)

You still luckier than me. I still can not get Puzzle2. It does not accept the password in any form!
In any case, I wish you good luck!

For the first task you had to do? Are you sure that you got a confirmation that it was the correct string. If it fast forwarded you to the end screen (the score bit), that is NOT correct. Only accept it when they give a green confirmation.

I wrote down all the possible 4-char combinations on a piece of paper, and tried them all. Then, following the instructions stated, I re-arranged the PHRASES by ascending order (and not by individual character).

Try again?

Yes, I decided, all three combinations with confirmation that it is correct. These right combination, I have laid in the instructions - in the order of precedence of the first letters in the right combinations.
Still not accept!

Have you tried contacting Kerros about it?
Also, notice that it's case sensitive.

Yes, but Kerros. I can not catch him yet.
The riddles on a combination of four letters are shown in all uppercase. "I" and "L" are drawn as large. I have in pass the two letters 'I' and one 'O' (I also tried a '0'). I even tried to change the 'I' to 'L', but this is unlikely. . .
I think there is a failure in the verification mechanism.

Oh, damn these letters. . . .
I replaced one of the 'I' to 'L' and it worked.
Thank you, guys!!!!

Thought this was going to be a rant.
Then saw the code in your picture, and was like... okay... yeah, if that's the code they got, they can rant.
Then actually read the post and was like... oh, cool! It's not really a rant! It's a helpful guide! Awesome! :D

(I was lucky and had only one questionable character in my code.)

I had no problems with it. The zero is very easy to distinguish, and I had only one I/l situation, which means I only had to try out two different codes.

Why try to distinguish it by eye if you can just copy-paste this message from post request response?
