Hello, I have a question to CS:GO players.
I'm not a big fan and player of that game, but I recently earned quite good 3$ item and my question is about investing that item. What way is the best to earn money through that, what site, even if it will give small earnings at the beginning?

yup, csgolounge is your only good shot at making money out of csgo items, or maybe csgoraffle but that's just gambling.

If you value your time, just sell it in the market. If you don't, there are two approaches: trading (csgoutpost.com, csgolounge.com) and betting (csgolounge.com).

csgolounge, but be careful

  • 90% of the people there will try to scam you.
  • triple check everything.
  • don't open strange link, NEVER.
  • when you'll post a trade a lot of bots will add you, just block them (level 0, private profiles, last game played in 2014, etc)

In case you wanna bet:

  • Trade your item to 2x lower value items so u can bet on 2 matches. Most likely you'll lose only one then, instead of 2.
  • Never do all-ins
  • Tier 1 teams are easier to predict
  • Don't bet on low tier teams cuz they're most likely throwing for skiins
  • Don't trust anyone who wants you to go first

bo3, vp has more good maps than tsm, my prediction is 2-1 for vp, otherwise they will lose 2 maps very close

mirage - 100% tsm EDIT : there's never 100%, 99% at max

cache 50/50

train - 80% vp

cobble 80% vp

dd2 50/50

rest will be banned, so as u see it all depends on map picks

nah, lol vp>tsm is bs man, I got over 500 bets, been watching CS since 2014, and following TSM, I can tell you that TSM are n1 team while VP are sitting at top 4 atm or 3 at best. Online maybe yes, if overpass is included, otherwise i'd say a big no.

1:1 for vp (edit: not for vp, but in maps) and 4:1 on third map, tt mirage

Your best choice would be to join some betting group then. Some of them know a lot, maybe you'll get lucky.

You already got $3 for free...do not be greedy because is a high chance to lose all you've got :)

That wasn't exactly for free, I earned 1.5$ on selling cards then I bought and sold stuff with bigger value and now i'm stuck with one for moment so i thought it might be other way :p

Oh...thought you got a drop in CS GO,but anyway it is better to not bet on csgolounge if you don't know nothing about teams and players.
Sometimes one player is not playing,or they are throwing to get some skins, some teams are playing seriously only on big tournaments so you can not always bet by odds .
But if you still want to bet do not look at comments.People spread false imformation sometimes.

I dunno, I have a really trade-savvy friend who uses trade-up contracts to get even more money. Don't buy keys unless you plan to use them as currency.

Not really investing, but split it into three 1$ items and try betting on csgolounge.

As others have said, you can bet on csgolounge, although this is a great way to lose all your items.

The most surefire way to get money is to sell items on the community market, although you lose 15% to valvetax.

I know that, I am very careful with stuff like that. And you don't sound like my mother, because now she's more like "You're old, you can have your only own problems now!" :D

Sadly, as several users pointed out, CSGO Lounge is currently the best way to go about expanding your inventory. I've been trading CSGO skins and occasionally games for about 2 years now and these are the tips I have to share:

  • always check market prices and price history
  • trade skins that are desirable - AK, M4A4/M4A1-S, AWP for example - there will always be demand
  • avoid trading with users who have low level profiles, low number of games, low hour count - these are all red flags
  • speaking of red flags, avoid trading with certain people from certain countries (can't be more specific because I'll get banned this time)
  • positive rep (+rep) on Steam profiles can easily be faked
  • always avoid high value trades where you have to go first - anyone can be a scammer
  • csgo.exchange is a very useful tool for traders

CS:GO trading scene has changed a lot in the last year, mainly because of all the new players/traders. Everyone is looking for overpay and everyone is looking for profit. Everyone. There used to be a couple of simple 'rules' back when Lounge wasn't full of cancer:

  • keys are a currency almost everyone accepts
  • if you sell a skin for keys, you overpay
  • if you trade 2+ lower grade skins for 1 higher grade skin, you overpay

But these rules don't always apply now. Just be patient.

One last tip for some very quick profit - operations are a great opportunity to make some money fast if you're quick to respond and of course lucky enough.
