Hello all, my new graphics card just arrived, so I want to see what it can do. So please suggest games that have the best graphics but are also fun to play.

Games I already have that have been suggested:

Batman Arkham City
Crysis (Need to install photorealistic mod)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Bought Saturday)
Dirt 3
GTA4 (Need to install Ice Enhancer)
Just Cause 2 (Bought Friday)
Saint's Row: The Third (Bought Saturday)
Serious Sam 3: BFE
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine (Bought Saturday)
Witcher 2 (Bought Saturday)

Games I will buy next paycheck (Monday) and try out:

Crysis 2 (most likely)

Games to pickup in the future or on sale:

Battlefield 3
Hard Reset
Metro 2033
Singularity
Supreme Commander Forged Alliance
Witcher

Any of these that are steam games I will take screenshots of and you can view them here.

I am surprised only 1 person found the Just Cause 2 giveaway, if you clicked the apostrophe in the following comment it brought you right to the giveaway:

"Just bought that last night actually (it's on sale for $3.49 on GamersGate)."

Rock of Ages, no kidding. It simply just doesn't run properly in certain maps (and it's not just for me). Well I don't know what causes the problems, but if you get a chance to try it out.

Among games I've actually played:

Witcher 2;
Total War: Shogun 2;
Batman: Arkham City

Are the most visually appealing. Batman isn't that hard on the graphics card though. You definitely don't need a GTX 680 to handle it.
Shogun 2 can be but depends on the processor even more so... if you want a full system workout it will definitely do it though. Witcher 2 can be brutal, with ubersampling enabled a single GTX 680 isn't going to be able to yield playable frame rates at 1920x1080.

I've heard Crysis and Metro 2033 are visually impressive but not having played I can't verify that.

Have Arkham City and just bought Witcher 2, and I don't expect to run it maxed after searching about the game's ubersampling mode XD

Shogun 2 is on the list of future purchases.

Im gonna get a 680, just waiting for the 2nd revision, and maybe an HIS or Gigabyte or Asus, something with better cooling. I recently saw one of the triple height Asus cards and would love to have one like that.

AAA Engine =/= good graphics. You can take CE3 and make Pacman. It is /possible/ to get great graphics, but using CE doesn't guarantee good gfx. lol.

Grostesque Tactics: Evil Heroes, trust me. I can handle Crysis, etc. But can't pass 20fps on GT:Evil Heroes.

Oh man, someone else that loved Singularity? Nice, such an underrated game, it ranks up there with Bioshock for sure.
