hm, I didn't add it via the browser, instead I logged into the Origin client. Upon login I was presented with a popup for this deal and continued from there. (if you don't get a popup, maybe you can go to the store page in the client?)
maybe you can also add it through the Origin client instead?
If you're not in the US / EU region, here's another idea:
use Google Chrome browser and disable redirecting and then use the US or DE store page. at least that's how some can claim the additional "on the house" deal for France, because for some reasons, de FR site sometimes has a different free game.
