[Buy] VR games have never been that cheap. You gotta seize the opportunity!
[Buy, no VR] Wow, I don't even have a VR set but these will make some nice additions to my library.
[Skip] I'm Knee Deep into miles of backlog, I shouldn't add more to it.
[Skip, no VR] Man, maybe I should buy a VR set instead of a Steam Deck...

Maskmaker already for such a low price? An absolute must-buy for me. That game alone is worth more than tier 3.

I have a question to VR hardware owners. This thing in Brazil is overly expensive... Do the hardware price tag worth for the fun?

I think it's equivalent to the amount of fun you can have with normal PC games. At the beginning, it's very novel, new and gimmicky, but once you get used to it the quality of the games you play needs to maintain the interest in VR. So if it's within your means and you can afford it it's worth it, but you can have just as much fun playing any other games too. The big risk is that you play a lot once you get it, but then you put down and forget about it and go back to playing regular games. So it depends on what type of games you like to play. If you can find a couple of VR games that interest you then go for it. If you're ok with Facebook stealing your information, then I recommend the Oculus Quest 2 for a great budget option.

lol fb stealing informations..... you always can make an sub account for it.... And Vr games are usually craps, i Bought a quest 2 and only 1 good games to play HL alyx, others one are as fun as mobiles games. Now i want to sold this headsets but nobody wants it lol. So don't waste your money for low quality games

oh maybe, i don't verify it because I absolutely don't care about my informations since they already have it (and i m not too stupid tfor let all my life on my computer) anywhere you go in the web, steam, amazon, and all sites where you go have your informations so fb account requested complaint is just laughable (sorry I'm french, english is not my main language)

Thanks a lot for the info. I think I'll skip because the price. In the deep I think a hardware it doesn't worth this much just to play a few titles. If i get an affordable price, I can really think about it (like the racing wheel). Feels like I'm trying to buy something to show to friends, not to enjoy myself (considering the high chances to put down and forget about it someday).

Another suggestion is to see if there is a VR arcade type place in your area to try it out before you buy it. I also recommend buying a used VR kit to save a bunch of money. I bought my HTC vive used for less then half the price of a new set.

Just to see how fun prices in Brazil are, they are both the same price here. If I import myself, I may pay taxes to make them a little bit cheaper, but still, very expensive. I'm honestly thinking to skip this thoughts for good... Doesn't feel like any of them worth here.

VR is great, but video card + VR headset could be expensive in your country.
Maybe you should buy just Oculus Quest 2 - you can use it alone without PC and if you enjoy it, then buy GOOD graphics card (I mean really good, because if your frames goes under 90fps, you will notice it and you can get nausea for the rest of whole day) and connect it with your PC to have even better graphics in games.
There are a lot of garbage VR games, but there are also good games like Alyx, Pavlov, Beat Saber, Skyrim VR, or you can find some other like Moss, Scanner Sombre, Robo Recall.

I have to mention also that VR games are quite expensive.
And expect that it is just possible to play only a few hours a day, it is very exhausting to be in VR, because in good games you will use room scale, so you will be standing, squatting, moving with arms a lot... and during hot days prepare a big fan to cooldown self :-)

The requirements is okay for me. I think my rig will run everything just fine. My physical condition is pretty alright. I think I can play all day if I get really envolved. The problem is what NecroTed said earlier. I may enjoy A LOT in the beggining and then put down and forget about it. Currently, the chances of this happen are high because I'm mostly interested about arcade games, unless I find something very arcade (which I'm probably going to spend way more to buy these)... The chances of this "investment" goes wrong is high at this moment. I honestly think I should wait for a better price or just forget about this.

I have first version of Oculus Rift (CV1) and I am still happy with it.
Now I have searched when I bought it - 1.8.2018, so I have it for 3 years and still all new games are working with it perfectly without problems.
At first I was using it a lot, then it was just in my desk for a few months (no good games) and it was like a cycle, so again playing a lot and pause...Now I have huge VR backlog, but no time to play + a few 3D movies to watch.
But I do not think, that you will forget it forever, because there are VR bundles much more often and quality of VR games is improving and I am using it more than before.

Playing normal game on monitor is standard, but in VR it feels completely different and much much better and you are the hero here.
If you can test VR somewhere, then please test it...ideally if any of your friend has it.

And please wait with buying Oculus Quest 2, they will sell it in 1 month with silicone pad and not with foam pad - some people had rash from it. But I can say, that silicone should be better than foam, because in my version it is hard to pick hair from it and in silicone hair cant stuck, so you will save some money with waiting :-)

I'm really trying to find someone to allow me to play this experience... Even for console owners. More I look, more I find how unpopular VR is in Brazil. This seems to be the best option by far, since I really don't know how I'll feel (like no clue at all) about the gadget. Oh, I almost forgot, I have a variant that I have to consider: girlfriend playing. If I decide to buy, seems reasonable come back and open a thread to see the goods and the bads about each gadget, like you did with the oculus quest.

I strongly do not recommend console PS VR, it is very very blurry, expensive games and low amount of games + worse tracking.

Another thing you should consider is the space where you can play, because you need at least 2,5m x 2m of space (i have that space and it is ok, but larger playfield would be better). Sitting only games are worst experience - you can get nausea fast. Best are standing or room scale games.
Maybe it can be unpopular because you need very powerful PC and VR games are not that cheap (maybe those that hate it, they just tested PS VR, that is horrible) - but like normal PC games, you can download them in "gray" area for free and they work too and then maybe buy them later.

Btw there are also a few games to play together - You can be in VR and your girlfriend will be on same PC (Chicks and tricks, Nemesis perspective ...) or someone with function Play together over internet. They are mostly little games, but fun with friends.

Glad to see Fanatical is offering affordable VR bundles, like Indiegala used to. The latter hasn't offered such deals in almost two years, it was about time someone else might step into those shoes.

No, there are great games. But do not expect great VR games in bundles...
try Pavlov, Beat Saber, Skyrim VR, Moss, Scanner Sombre, Robo Recall, Doom 3 BFG (in VR) or you can also watch 2D or 3D movies in virtual cinema :-)

skyrim vr isn't really well optimized without huge lists of mod, doom bfg is jus meh, others are not really interesting more than 2 hours and robo recall isn't on steam and no way I buy games on oculus store. I have fallout 4 VR too and it's barely plmayable, borderlands 2 is fun but i spend already more tha 2k hours on original's one.Anyway it's not worth spend 350 bucks for play only few games... I love vr but devs doesn't care of us. I don't expect good ones in bundle but admit it's difficult to found really intereting games like witcher's games etc, it's more "experiences" than games... (sorry I'm french and english isn't my main language :) )

Robo recall is free on oculus store, at least I got it free for my Oculus Rift CV1 in store.
For me VR is special experience. And also I cant use it often, because if I am exhausted from work then I will not want to have headset on my head and stand in the middle of room.
I bought it in 2016 (I think) and now after 5 years there are much better games than before....
And I am loosing much more money because of money inflation every year, than the price of VR headset.
