Ever since Twitch moved to their Humble Monthly-esque monthly game format (back in March), they've exclusively released games for the Twitch platform. Considering the intentional emphasis on their own platform, it's likely that there won't be Steam keys in the future, either.

Well, I bought Baldur's Gate at release and twice more since then, and haven't played it yet. (Although granted that was because it didn't grab me.)
From the games here, I backed Eternity on Kickstarter and haven't even activated it, have owned Brutal Legend since 2013, have had The Bridge in my Steam inventory since 2014, and at least from Broken Age (which I also backed on Kickstarter) I played the first act.

And I too bought the D&D Master Collection with the idea I would get them to work on a tablet with GemRB and play on my commute. This didn't happen obvs. :throws both hands up:

I have all the Enhanced Editions on Android (and the BG ones on Steam, from a Fanatical bundle). Played the tutorial of BG and recently a bit of Icewind Dale. I'm planning to return to Shadowrun Returns, which I surprisingly played quite a bit of, until an update broke my character which meant I had to start from the beginning. Haven't touched it since, but I installed it again recently.

second time i'll download the twitch.client, downloads all seems to be drm free, so, once downloaded, you can delete the client.
still, you could "miss" steam. like me. and i think that's the hard part twitch is taking care of: get awesome games, but
"let's forget steam and humble monthly, a little".

have tried a few (4 or 5, also Shadow Tactics, never played) and they were all drm free. this is should be true when you use Twitch's desktop app to download them.

Sounds good. I'll try with Eternity, see if it's possible to install it on one PC and copy to another. If that's the case, I might think of getting more Twitch deals even for games I own. Always nice to have a DRM-free backup.

Sorry I'm so late to reply. I did download Eternity at the time but had lots of other stuff to do since then and forgot about it. I tried it today, and not only did copying to another PC work (well, at least as far as the main menu), but the game directory has galaxy.dll, which suggests that this is a GOG version. If that's true for all Twitch games, that's a great way to hoard DRM-free games. There aren't any GOG bundles, and this is the closest thing to it.

Pillars of Eternity complete with DLCs and Tyranny alone are almost worth the full price of Amazon Prime 1-year subscription :V -edit: for Italy at least, Prime in some other countries is quite pricey-

I signed up with Amazon Prime to get the streaming movie/TV service (in New Zealand) which had (maybe still has) intro offer of 2.99/month for first 6 months then 6.99/ month after that. Then Twitch started their monthly game bundles (a few months back? 3 or 4 months). Amazon Prime membership gives you Twitch Prime so u can link Twitch acct to Amazon Prime. Twitch Prime monthly games bundle and Amazon Prime Video for less than a tenner every month? Hell yeah!!

Edit Edit: Turns out it works! I dragged all the files from PillarsOfEternity_Data from the definitive edition to the steam location of pillars, and didn’t replace anything. Now the game boots up as showing the DLC installed. I haven’t tested it a lot yet so mileage may vary.and
I do own the base game on steam. I’ll try to explain this the best I can:
Step 1: install Pillars of Eternity on both steam and Twitch.
Step 2: When the downloads are complete, go to the install location of Pillars of Eternity for Twitch.
Step 3: Copy “PillarsOfEternity_Data” folder to the steam install of Pillars of Eternity.
Step 4: Don’t let it replace any files when everything is copied over.
You could probably just copy the “data_expansion1” and “data_expansion2” to the “PillarsOfEternity_Data” folder, but I didn’t want to risk missing any files midgame.
Edit: Also, not sure if this could get you in trouble. People did it with Mass Effect 2 DLCs, and I didn’t hear anything bad happening from that.from r/GameDeals, also, any confirmation's appreciated :D

A lot of games that no one will actually play because they're on potentially dying platform. There's probably a limitation on the license for these too. Also not sure if people will try and bite on this 29348589th game client after Steam, Battle.net, itch, Uplay, gog, Origin, etc.

Apparently the dlcs are a must have. This is what I read on gamedeals.
"Not only do they fix the pacing of the main but also add a lot of important lore and character building moments. Yes the 2 DLCs are Bastard's wound and Tales from the Tiers.
The ACT of the game is comparatively shorter than the other ACTs and it feels as though it was a bit rushed. The Bastard's wound DLC adds in companion quests and a lot of character development moments through the game which make the pacing more consistent through and the characters much better developed. Concluding everything in a nice crescendo. The ton of lore it adds is welcomed as well. It clears up many things that were not shed light upon in the base game.
Tales from the Tiers adds in a lot encounters that just make the world feel lively you know? It's a nice quality of life improvement to the game.

They are all for Twitch's launcher, no Steams keys provided.
