Gunman Chronicles, Bulletstorm
Basically most action FPS games with a futuristic setting and a good story.
Also: The Darkness II

I would love an Hotline Miami movie kind of like Clockwork Orange. Although I must say I would be digusted at the same time ;)

What the fuck is wrong with you guys?EVERY SINGLE PERSON CALL THAT GAME "Dishonoured".
THE GAME TITLE IS "Dishonored" NOT FUCKING "Dishonoured"

Without you pointing that out, I'd have called it "Dishonoured" too because that's how we spell "honour" in the UK.

FWLIW, I don't understand why he's so upset, either. Of course, y'all are spelling it wrong. ;)

An Assassin's Creed movie would be good, but no Ezio shit...only Altaïr :P

No, none, never... This style of thinking has lead the mainstream games to what they are today - an orchestrated "press forward and only watch" experience. This is evil...
Games and movies do not mix. Book don't mix with this either. It's a completly different medium requiring a totaly different mindset during creation. There are some great articles about this on Frictional Games blog, I highly recommend reading them to anyone.

When you mix games with books the result can be good a lot of times (Visual Novels, namely Key visual arts VNs for example).

Actually, you can tell a good story (by means of a book, or a movie) in a coherent and well-thought game universe. They are not mutually exclusive.
You just can't gimmick a game experience in a movie, it won't work, movies are there to show a story, games are about making a story by your own decisions and actions. It's just hard to make a movie about a game that doesn't really have its own universe so you actually don't have anything to tell that isn't about the game experience.
You can tell a story about some stranded UED starship on a Zerg-infested planet, with new characters, and it can still be Starcraft, but can you make a Tomb Raider movie that doesn't involve Lara? It wouldn't make sense...

sleeping dogs, I've been playing this game recently and I think it would be an interesting film idea.

Are there any newish films that are like this? I don't really like the older ones anymore

The Departed.
Edit: Infernal Affairs isn't even old!
Double edit: Oh! Internal Affairs. I've not played Sleeping Dogs so I don't know which is closer in plot.

Yeah, I saw that infernal affairs, quite highly rated.

There's already an official Sleeping Dogs short film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WgWMgGrZDY

Thanks to the Steam Summer Sale I've been able to catch up on a few titles I thought I'd missed out on recently for whatever reason. Playing Tomb Raider got me thinking, I would actually really enjoy watching this as a movie - it has a good balance of emotion and action, drama and discovery - and the pacing and scope for expansion would come together pretty well in a feature length film. As someone who is already interested in Japan and its myths and history, I'm really enjoying experiencing this story unfold.
What games would you enjoy sitting down to watch? To clarify, I mean based specifically on that game's plot and characters (I know there's already Tomb Raider films).
