Any good single player game?

I am looking for a good single player game, with a good story line.
Ye i know this topic has already been done some time ago but i'm too lazy to search for it:d
This game can be short or long.

Bastion. Spec Ops: The Line. Any of the Fallout games. Half-Life 2. Portal 2.

The list could go on for quite a while, but those are some of my favourites.

Well, Half Life doesn't have THAT much of an impressive story but at least it has unlike the other two games.

Max Payne 3 is very beautiful cinematically, but the story isn't anything THAT impressive. Mass Effect has a good story, but if he looks for story he will be disappointed with the 3rd one. And Fallout 3 isn't a game I would call a story driven game.
