For the story, at that price. Yes. Gameplay wise, not really, but the game is still worth buying @ 7.50

Ah, I'm curious as to everyone's thoughts on the game as well. From what I hear from my friends though, it is not recommended. :|

I personally haven't played it, and whilst everyone goes on about how amazing it is, the gameplay seems to be pretty poor.

I recently bought Bioshock triple pack for 5 tf2 keys, soooo that price is not that worth really.

I wish the season pass was discounted too. :(

This game is meh... plot has few good elements but gameplay wise it's bad.

Amazing game! Absolutely worth it at that price in my opinion! Story is great, but there are fewer plasmids(or vigors) than the previous games.

it's an amazing game I really don't get all the people hating on this game. The story line is amazing. The gameplay is good and the looks of the game are good too. I thought this game was well worth it.

I love the story line and quite enjoy the gameplay as well, despite what everyone else are saying. For $7.50, this is a great deal.

Well, if the comments so far didn't make it clear, it seems to be different from person to person. The only way you'd know if you would like it is to try it. There isn't anything broken with the game, so whether you will like it or not depends completely on your personal preferences.
Personally I liked it and think it's worth it (since you asked for opinions).

Weakest game in the series. It's beautiful, it's evocative, but it's all razzle-dazzle dressing over the blithering twin idiots of boring, schizo gameplay and retarded storytelling. On the gameplay front: linearized levels, restricted arsenal, little-to-no power and enemy diversity, imported mechanics that just don't work or mesh (ex. regenerating shield, scavenging), and frankly grindy and underwhelming boss encounters. Story-wise, a pair of moronic protagonists, characters missing motivations, undeveloped antagonists, inconsistent world mechanics, plot holes abound, and a ending twist that means nothing as it changes nothing.

I played it, and when I finished it I felt superficially satisfied. But then I started thinking about it. There is inspiration in it. There were some great ideas and commentary. But it never make's it to the player's direct experience with the game. What the game is about is infinitely more interesting than what it is. And what it is is a mediocre made-by-committee shooter with an Idiot Plot propped up by production value. Bioshock 1 was smarter. Bioshock 2 was actually fun to play. Many other games manage to do what BS:I tried with far less. I would really recommend just watching an LP rather than buying it.

I bought it when it was $5 on Amazon, so meh.

I loved it - and despite the seemingly majority of people finding the gameplay dull I actually find it fairly entertaining, it's not amazing but it's not bad either. The story and the absolutely beautiful gameworld are the highlights in my opinion, definitely worth a purchase.

Despite what seems to be the general opinion, I really enjoyed it and I'll gladly recommend it at that price.
