Did you make the end harder after moemustaine's video? Because my scenario is much worse than his, every time I get near the end I have 5 stalks on the map at all time, two bushes and the white moths owls (apparently they are owls) spawning constantly, which makes for an unwinnable endgame since there's no time to focus on the stalks. And basically you get overwhelmed. So new bump I guess.

Finally got to the end! Damn that was tough. I think my original points still stand, there's a bit too many stalks towards the end. I'd say everything before the three owls is fairly balanced, I can get to the three owls without losing any life, but after that it's a good bit of luck needed to survive. Particularly the section with the three owls and stalks part is difficult, which can really screw you over.
I'd still say the owl could stand to lose a bit of it's life, my suggestion would be around 20% so you have a better chance to kill it if you don't have the charged blast available.
When it comes to power-ups:
* The Golden Carrot: feels good as it is (increases firepower)
* The Blue Mushroom: I'm still confused on whether it only takes one hit for you? Or you're invincible during the time you have it? In general my suggestion would be to make it a bit more clear when it protects you, just a thought.
* The Speed Radish: feels like one of the lesser useful ones, it seems to speed up you, but also the enemies?
* The Pepper-Oni: didn't seem to do anything. Also it can spawn of the map if you kill it near the edge, making it impossible to get. But since it doesn't do anything no one really cares I guess :D
P.S. Spoilers are there for those who want to find out what the power-ups do for themselves. Also my screenshot is here because I don't care about the "Fall Guys" GA, you should definitely post it in the right sections if you are interested.

Congratulations! :D
It feels amazing to see someone not into the genre playing your game for over 10 hours and providing precious feedback. Thank you so much. It really means a lot to me.
About the power-ups:
The carrot essentially doubles your fire rate for the next 10 seconds.
The mushroom provides a shield that lasts 10 seconds or saves you from receiving one hit and then vanishes.
The radish increases your running speed only and lasts for 10 seconds. The enemies are unaffected.
The Chili PepperOni (yes, there are two more unrevealed PepperOni brothers 👀) is supposed to be one of a kind and it makes the pitchfork overheat for the next 20 seconds. The charged shot becomes available every couple of seconds even without shooting.
Thanks again for playing and giving our game a chance :)
Totally unrelated, I'm seeing your screenshot without the usual "View attached image" button. Is that a new SG feature or just some comment formatting I've never known existed?

The Radish felt like it sped up the entire game, instead of just you. Maybe it's just me. I did theorize that's what the Pepper could do but in reality it wasn't very useful or noticeable if I'm honest. The Pepper could use an upgrade.
I was confused by the image thing too, might be a new feature I'm unsure. I didn't do anything special as far as I know. Anyway good luck with the game :)

Hello, Steamgifts community!
First things first, GIVEAWAYS!
I’m here to announce that Hardest Harvest, the game my brother and I have been secretly developing for the past 9 months, has a playable demo which has been featured in the Steam Game Festival: Autumn Edition.
Hardest Harvest is a fast-paced FPS about a farmer striving to survive a horde of corrupted plants and save cute crops along the way, all set in an everfalling arena leaving the player no option but to dodge incoming enemies and fight the swarm.
Some notes about the demo:
It doesn’t really feature a score system because it’s supposed to end at roughly 7 minutes with a cutscene, which apparently almost no one reached. It’s been made like this just to receive feedback on the game difficulty.
We are not really fond of hand holding the players, so the game explanation is limited to a single scroll showing up before the fun starts. It will be up to you to discover how to grab power-ups, take full advantage of the movement system, or simply destroy spawners.
Said so, I hope you will enjoy the demo! It is our very first public game and its development has been a rollercoaster of emotions. Huge satisfaction when something was working properly as well as incredible frustration when Unity went nuts. Overall, a beautiful learning experience.
Oh, there’s a survey button showing up while quitting the game. Feedback is super appreciated!
If you enjoyed it, don’t forget to add Hardest Harvest to your wishlist, it would help us so much!
Thanks for reading this far! It’s not over yet, though.
To promote the game I’m also giving away a key for Fall Guys limited to my whitelist. How to join the giveaway, you say? Easy! Just try the demo (about 200MB install size) and reply with a screenshot to this post.
Please, don't reply to the main thread with your screenshot. It's hard to keep track of everyone participating if the screenshots are all scattered around. Thank you!
Links: everyone loves them!
