Holy makarony, I've just checked this thread. How did you find out what group was causing it? I am almost in 1000 groups and I have no idea... Also, why would any group do it on purpose? Do you have any more details about this topic?

Yeah, First I have just turned of that option then I turned it on back as I have quit 2 Turkish groups, original giveaways and some of those massive giveaways group on gleam that look fishy

Could you please check what groups did you leave, please? It would be SUPER helpful for me (and I guess many more people). You can check your browser history and type "https://steamcommunity.com/groups/" in the search, should show all the group pages rercently viewed.

So there is no chance you could recall what were these groups?
I also think you can access pages you visited in your Steam browser in Internet Explorer history. Would you be so kind and check there?

I checked on internet explorer and found nothing, about the groups as I said they are Original Curators Group and some other groups which names are giveaways something

You got the same problem as well? That means I have to browse just 45 groups (which we have in common). That's really helpful!
Perhaps you remember what groups have you joined recently? I checked those I did and it's not them apparently though.

I just checked many of our common groups (99 though), left OGG groups and few recent Gleam groups (which also made announcements in the last days), but it didn't help yet. It might be also caused by not only one group (if so, the other group might not be common).

I have tried leaving few groups only but I am probably going to browse through all 1000... Fuck my life, for real :(
I will let you know in case I got to know which one is causing it.
I'd also appreciate if you do the same.

I just get thrown down the server, gettting disconnected from friend list and stuff like that every half an hour. Doesnt really have problem with steam sale other than not recognising me

yeah. in the last 3 days happends to me a few times, there is a page where you can see if steam is down...
and when a have that issue, the page was down, but the servers shows "normal"

I just got through this morning. On chrome mobile I couldn't do it, but through the steam app it was working. No idea why it kept reloading the webpage after I submitted the Steam Guard code.

So, I just fixed it for myself. However, after I got annoyed by the first 25 groups and re-checking, I made a faster cleanup. So I can't definitely say, which group it was. It's not caused by any of the giveaway websites (.su, Grab The Games, Gamezito, Marvelous etc).

Which did I delete?

Networks (OGG, Azure, Rex, Elite, Sir Alexander's)
Level up services (never used them anyway)
CSGO groups
big giveaway groups
a few dev/publisher groups (though I don't believe they were the reason due to rare announcements)
a few random groups.

So I suggest cleaning up for yourselves (only public ones!), was overdue for me anyway. You can check my current groups in common to see the groups which don't have to be left.
