Asking for Curiosity,

For the ones who didn't win the giveaway yet what is the most insane rate :D mine is 307 entered, 0 wins let's find who is the most unlucky person and what the rate is :D I'm not surprised yet by the way in my entire life didn't win any giveaway yet.

Note: I'm just asking for curiosity and chat I hope it's not against the rules of the discussion board.

idk how to find out what my winrate to 0 was, but one of the first giveaways that I joined had 50k copies I don't think it's that high lol

It's just for the ones who still not win any. It's easy to track for us hahaha.

Patience, young grasshopper.
(Also, group giveaways with low entries are the way to go if you want to win semi-regularly, but even then, luck still applies)

If you have some specific bundled games (like from the Jingle Jam) that you're trying to win you could try posting them over here ;)

That's not a typical thread, so it will be closed once the festive season is over with.
It's one of those special threads that treads the fine line of what's deemed begging, and the naive gifters who give to them.

If you only enter giveaways with more than 1,000 entries, than you're unlikely to win anything until you enter a thousand giveaways.

What i like to do is only enter giveaways on my wishlist, when there's less than 1,000 entries, and it's less than a few hours until they end.

ESGST helps alot for sorting the giveaways and help maximize your odds of winning.

Won my first SG giveaway right around past 1,000 entries. This isn't too atypical of the average Steamgifter entering public giveaways, and I've heard of worse, but I think I was pretty "unlucky" considering I did enter quite a few private/group giveaways near the end, before eventually winning anything.

You can't say how unlucky you are until you win at least one game.

If I remember correctly, it was a giveaway of 29 copies with 31 entries.
Literally over 90% chance of winning, and I lost!

Edit: but that’s statistics for you. Overall, I’ve won more games then. I should have, so I don’t care

It is simple statistic. If you join giveaway, you see entries of everyone who tries to win game and your chance is 1/number of entries. Unless these 307 giveaways you entered, had 2 entries, you definitely aren't unlucky.
