Have you ever been to Japan?
All my blacklists seem random as I never add a problem with someone on this site and people just blacklist without giving a reason so out of the 8 people that blacklisted me I dont know the reason of none of them.

If that reassures you I have 46 people that blacklisted me and only know why for a few. Don't worry buddy, sometimes people ain't have a good reason to do so, they just do because you said something they dislike, did blacklist them so they blacklist you back, etc.

Lol! Now I know who is that person who blacklisted me! Haha...
I've never seen this Mayanaise, but it looks like he is not well and he is blacklisting everyone around for no reason.

There is always a reason, but that reason might not be logical; however, commenting something snarky like this gives me an excuse to keep you blacklisted. Have fun.
fun fact: there are actually A LOT more people that can't enter than are on my blacklist because the giveaway is set to Level 3

My favorite part of visiting Japan was using kotatsu. Japanese homes, and sometimes also hostels and lodgings are kept cold for western standards. Their heating is not always great. But they have kotatsu, a table with electric heater and a blanket. You sit by the table, have a tea, and your legs are kept warm under the table.

In fact, the usage rate of kotatsu goes down to the northernmost part of Japan, Hokkaido.
why! Don't use it when it's cold! ?
You will think so.
It is too cold and the significance of existence of kotatsu is lost.
So a powerful oil stove and heating in each room are used instead.
Strangely, there are people who spend the room indoors in "warm the room temperature close to 30 degrees" and "T-shirts and shorts in winter".
lol ... True... 😁

I always wanted to go to Hokkaido region in the winter. Maybe do some snowboarding and stuff, but what i really want to do is sit in those hot springs and drink sake :)
Thank you for the giveaway. Just so I'm clear, this game can only be activated in Japan?

Nowadays i am watching Peaky Blinders and from title i was sure it was about it. Now i'm mad! Fooking blinders!
Anyway, i think you made a mistake when creating giveaway. Only people from Japan can enter.

when i was a teenager and still lived in SoCal i'd go to this neighborhood where a lot of Japanese Expats lived (Torrance!) just to load up on used manga. then i'd squirrel away back home with an assortment of dictionaries and guides to (badly) translate all of it. so if i ever managed to have the time and money to visit Japan, i'd probably just hunker down in any shop i found with, like, ALL the manga. all of it.

I'm in my 13th year in Tokyo now. I'm not into anime or manga at all. My Japanese isn't great either :)
Things main I like - it's easy to live here, it's safe, everything works. They all sound simple, but they make a huge difference in your day-to-day life.

Why is the link not working? I'll sue.
I've never been to Japan, but I'd love to visit there one day. It's fighting for first place with New Zealand in "places I want to see before I die". I think the worse thing for me would be trying to learn Japanese before visiting because I'm a failure at learning things that aren't useless skills/knowledge. I've heard that Japan is easy to navigate if you know English, but I'd still prefer to learn some of the language before visiting a country that does not use my native language.

You were joking about the link, right?
Well, Japan and New Zealand are both beautiful places, and you wouldn't really be able to tell them apart once you leave the big cities. Japan has a lot more culture & technology to offer, though once you've visited your 13th temple/ shrine/ castle/ manga store/ game arcade/ mall, they begin to look the same XD
I wouldn't worry about learning Japanese fluently, unless you've got a few years to do so! I knew very little Japanese (though I wish I had known more), and it was a great time. There was only a couple of times where the person I asked for help couldn't understand English at all.

I went with family and family friends, we went to the usual Temples, some shopping districts in Tokyo and Osaka, and I forget which one of the SEGA Joypolis I went, had 4D amusement rides and such also had a car showroom advertising international car licenses. The best experience was about eating Japanese food though, oh and their trains are always exactly on time( this was about 10 years ago when the skytrains/transit in my area were never right on time)! The shinkansen was a smooth fast ride, I didn't even feel how fast it was going really.
...oh and the famous Japanese toilet seats, the butt cleaning water jet tickled lol.

I visited with my family earlier this year and had a really great time. I highly recommend visiting teamLab Borderless and then visit teamLab Planets. Both are in Tokyo. If you can't make it to both then just visit teamLab Planets. I think the less you know about teamLab Planets the more you'll enjoy it - better to just experience it.
BTW hi from Wellington! Feel free to add me if you want to chat more on Steam

thinks for a second nope, no idea. There ya go.
Yeah, you will - I got addicted to ramen (both Soba and Udon - the Udon ones get a bit slurpingly-deliciously messy though), unagi, and beef/pork bowls. They also seem to do good donuts, go figure...

just a bowl of rice with a pile of sliced tender meat on top, and a side bowl of miso soup. Might sound simple, but it makes a great quick meal, and they often offer other side dishes. Yoshinoya was one of the places I used to visit often (https://www.yoshinoya.com/en/)
Sushi is great, but fried Unagi... mhmm, so yum! Also recommend trying Takoyaki, Taiyaki and Okonomiyaki.

It's incredibly humorous to me that a game with Tokyo in the title is region restricted from Japan.
I've never been to Japan, but it's a place I'd definitely be interested in visiting. I'd love to hike Mt. Fuji or take a trip around the countryside. Mt Fuji is an incredibly beautiful mountain.

Mt Fuji is a bit of a tourist hole, and you can only really hike it in summer (so when there's basically no snow), but it's definitely work visiting that area - there's a pretty cool Theme Park, and nice lakes and caves in the area you can visit. Not to mention this famous tourist book landmark (a photo I took while there)...

not entirely true :P you can climb whole year round, just fill the form if you want to avoid penalties [private property]. But during off season it's not as easy climb as in summer [wind and ice are not for begginers there]. :) Lake Kawaguchiko is worth visiting while there [and Aokigahara, purely for the 'forest on the lava with moss'' not the infamous thingie], but the latter is just my opinion

I've been meaning to expand my Japanese as well...
Yokohama is a great place in it's own right and not far from Tokyo. Worth at least a couple of days in that area sightseeing, and maybe visit the large outside Buddha statue a short train ride from there. XD

I just came back from Japan two days ago. :D I went with friends to several places around Tokyo. I really loved the food, although the food (and most other things) is significantly pricier compared to my country... 😥 Disney Sea was nice, but the lines... my legs and feet hurt so much afterwards... 😂
There's this restaurant called Gyukatsu Motomura that we really enjoyed. The brand has several branches in Japan, but we went to the Ikebukuro branch. The staff was so friendly and I really liked their food. I recommend it to people who plan to visit Japan someday. :)

So, I thought I'd do this giveaway. It's been a while since I did a nice invite-only giveaway.
If you've been to Japan, feel free to share with us your favourite places or things you did while you were there :)
If you haven't and wish to, feel free to share with us why you want to visit it.
Here's a random photo dump of my trip to Japan in 2016 jump on the catbus
Oh, here's what you were looking for.
My apologies to the Japanese SG members here, I made an assumption in thinking this game had a region restriction on it.
So, as a matter of recourse, I am doing a SECOND GIVEAWAY here for everyone!
