So i am looking to buy a SSD. I am planing to get this SSD. It costs 260leva or around 132EUR/163USD and i feel its too cheap for a 480GB SSD.

EDIT: Thanks all for the info i will go and buy it and send you some benchmarks when i install a clean windows on it.

It is way too cheap,a Samsung would be $200 for 250 :) (but that's an ultra fast NVME). But hey, maybe it's fine. Won't be as fast as you would expect though.

Actually, AData is quite good. I've had DDR3 and SSDs from them...zero problems. I build tons of custom PCs (I was an admin on a PC mod site for years), and can attest that AData is legit.

Now, I will say that my preferred brand of SSD is Samsung these days (that EVO series is really, really good), but I've also had good luck with AData and PNY. PNY is an excellent bargain brand.

Adata is a good medium quality brand, however a guy on reddit last month said that there was a bunch of adata having trouble with data. I bought recently a crucial one (as a secondary storage drive for some stuff) for 129€. I'm satisfied.

It is not 'way too cheap', I can get Samsung 850 EVO 500GB for €138,50 in the Netherlands, so barely more expensive
250GB for €83,50 I think I would choose SAMSUNG over Adata
And, ADATA is not bad, so yeah

It's not good nor bad. Medium quality. Don't expect a high life expentancy though. Good for the price.

Adata is a budget brand. They tend to use lower cost / quality components, and sometimes they'll put out a drive with one set of components, and then put out a new revision of that same drive using slower controllers without changing the name of the drive.

If you're on a real budget, it's okay. But if you can stretch it, go with Crucial or Samsung or WD or Intel. The Crucial MX500 or Intel 760p usually aren't much more than Adata, but are much more dependable drives. Given the huge pain that a failed drive is, I'd rather spend a little more to reduce that possibility.

If you go with Adata, make sure you have a backup solution.
