This song means a hell lot to me, and I wonder how many people here know it... It's in hokkien (mandarin dialect), and the title translates to 'Grandma's Words'. Brought me to tears when I heard it after my grandmother passed away, still gives me the feels now.

Beautiful song! I didn't really get to know very well any of my grandmas (I didn't see one of them too often, and the other one passed when I was little). Nevertheless, I can still remember some moments with them, and the love they showed to me. Thanks for sharing it :)

Hi there.
A pessimist will be positvily surprised by things that an optimist would take as expected event.

Christmas time is comming, and it's that time of the year when you start to think about all the good and bad things that have happened to you during the year. I've been thinking too, and, although it's not been a really good year to me, I've learned some lessons that will hopefully make the next year a little better.
So everyday I will open a new giveaway, from 1st to 24th of December, with a special gift on Christmas. In every giveaway description there is one lesson that I have learnt and the story behind it. This has many purposes: to thank back everybody here with a little contribution, to maybe amuse you with the stories, and even to make you think a little about how your year has been. Many of you might think that some of the lessons that I've learnt are quite trivial, or just common sense, but I think that are worth to be reminded anyway.
Nothing else to add, hope that you enjoy the games, the stories and the rest of the year! ^^
