I know you're being sarcastic but you do know that by creating this thread you are actually promoting this garbage, right ?
The same way all those video game websites that were outraged how House Party depicts women as objects to be conquered were just giving the game free publicity.

Eh, I don't know. I suspect that this thread will convince more people to add the games to their "Not Interested" list on Steam than to actually purchase the games.
Your example is confusing. Don't video game websites have a responsibility to cover the video game industry? How would they do that without giving the games that they cover "free publicity"?

I agree with you.
It's actually possible that we give more exposure to these specific games, but at the same time it will give more awareness to people about this genre in general so that they make wiser purchases in the future and avoid these kinds of games.
In the short-term run, this may help the Achievement Hunter developer with the games they actually have. But in the long run, it will make their following releases less successful, and so will other developers making similar games.
We have to speak out against them, otherwise we simply silently agree with the fact that they're completely disbalancing the games market, making profit off loopholes and giving a bad name to the serious indie developers out there.

When a game is worth reporting about they do. But House Party, FEMINAZI: The Triggering or that recent game about a gay Gulag are terrible games nobody would have ever heard about it wasn't for those Wutbürger (I'd rather not use the term snowflakes or SJWs but it gives you an idea what Wutbürger roughly means. I guess Crybullies would be the closest aproximation.) Those games rely on those people and sadly it works because many people don't realize when they are being manipulated. It's called Outrage Marketing.

^ This. Like with that Hatred game, the mass shooting one? Only reason I ever heard about it is because easily-offended sites like Polygon and Kotaku were writing articles on it, pretty much advertising it. Kinda funny, actually.
Also weird :S

I myself was debating on whether I should make a post to point out those games.
Those games remind me of my good old days making games with GameMaker and thinking that I'd one day sell them and be famous lol ^^
Thanks for the legit giveaway, I already have it though :)

While I like trying to get 100% Achievements in my games, I dislike those "achievement spam" games. I may have won one a while back (I didin't think it had all those Achievements back when I entered the giveaway), but I avoid them like the plague now!

And I thought I already hid all of them from my feed. hid 25 of them so far :/

And you people don't know that ZUP! series was one of the offenders behind this.
But another contributor to achievement spam games was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0GPmRCTOO8

It is sad that we have to start those games to get achievements.
Why nobody sells achievements directly?
10k achievements - 5€
20k achievements - 10€ sale 8.99€
50k achievements - 25€ super sale 21.99€

It would be funny to see someone trying to defend those... assets flips.

YAY MORE ACHIEVEMENTS!
I agree with the previous sentiment that I do enjoy achievements in REAL games (grinding out equipment, killing hidden bosses, getting all collectibles, whatever) but if the entire game is centered around achievements... why? What's the point?
Anyway, thanks for the chance at a real game.

So I wonder, will Volvo Valve notice it if we set user tags to Achievement Farm of Asset Flips

Good news, everyone! The developer of the "Achievement Hunter" games is releasing some new games:
http://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer=putilin_industries&page=2
http://store.steampowered.com/app/820920/Achievement_Hunter_Mermaid/
http://store.steampowered.com/app/823060/Achievement_Hunter_Witch/
http://store.steampowered.com/app/834330/Achievement_Hunter_Cat/
Personally, I welcome this news. I was having trouble sleeping because I was worried that the developer might stop with only 29 of these amazing, groundbreaking games.
Knowing that there are at least three more on the way really helps to ease my anxiety.
And who knows, maybe there are even more in development? We can only hope! We truly live in the golden age of gaming.

On a non-sarcastic note: here's a giveaway for a game that isn't a ridiculous piece of shovelware: System Shock 2 giveaway.
