I may be wrong, but they difference between the two is that an appointment is an arranged time to meet while the engagement is the act of meeting.
So lets say you have an appointment for 6:00am on Thursday.
The 6:00am on Thursday is the appointment itself, regardless of if you show up, that is the appointment.
When you actually interact with each other, THAT is the engagement.
At least that is what I think.

I'd like to help, but this sounds like contractual law, and that's something in which I've never dabbled. You might try an internet search including "legal terms" in its flag settings.

I'd seen lots of guys asking help for their school work and stuff here. Guess I'll just go for it, since I don't know where else to turn to for help anymore. Unless it's frowned upon, I'll just change this thread to a puzzle giveaway thread.
So, I am required to research and express the definition of 'Engagement' or 'Appointment' in standard contract agreement. There are lots of other stuff that were asked to research but I had no problem with them, save for this guy right here. So yeah, IF you guys could help it'll be cool. I gotta submit this by tomorrow. Thanks.
Let's put some smiley here, :) ...there ya go.

Edit: I changed the title a bit since it is eerily similar to PsychoClown's thread title. lol weeiird. Thanks for pointing that out Psycho.
Edit: definition of 'Engagement' or 'Appointment' in standard contract agreement in areas of graphic design/advertising. Thanks Sinovera.
