signed..modders should be paid..no problem..but its better with a donate button and not that companies get the cash and the modders only 25% of the share...
other thing is that the companies save effort to develop stuff/bugfixes, cause modders do it.and than the even get paid?! (companies)

Bethesda might only be the top of the iceberg...others might follow..easy money grab...

Not going to sign.
Modders should be paid for their work if they choose that road. If you don't like what the mod offers, don't buy it.

Valve, hire more lawyers already because:

  1. People will steal other people's mods and try to make money from things they didn't create;
  2. When mods with Master Chief follower, Sonic, Thomas the Train and other similar stuff which is someone's Intellectual Property will get a price, the shitstorm like no other will begin;
  3. SKSE creators. No one will pay them although most mods require SKSE. I hope those guys do something and Valve will be screwed hard on this one.

I feel like a more effective way to protest this, is for mod creators who are against this (especially ones who have very popular modes) to charge the maximum price for their mods (assuming it's quite high), wouldn't be effective if just one or two mod creators did it, but if a lot did just imagine all the Q_Q from gamers that their favorite mods cost $100 (i don't know what the actual max is)

a boycott on all workshop games would probably work too, but alas, games are horrible at boycotting things, too few of the overall people purchasing the games care about issues :p

I wish I could sign this and say no. This is just stupid and people complaining about it are just making a huge deal out of nothing. I for one see so much good that could come out of paid modding.

Yeah, there's so much good coming out of modding where modders only get 25% of the profit, while Valve and presumably the game developer and that's just one of the bad things. NO

What would work is a donate option, what valve is doing is a perfect example of corporate greed.
